log234✭✭✭Seen it before, I'm not sure what causes it. But some NPCs gets duplicated because their animation restarts, so you will see several copies of the same NPC at different points in their animation.
For me the NPC kept duplicating while I was looking at it until there was about 5 copies, the copies were removed when I looked away and back again (I think). But then it started over again if I kept looking at the NPC.First ever Emperor of Dawnbreaker (EU)

✭Is it possibly caused by the end of that quest?
Prior to the end of that quest, the beach is empty. When it's finished, you approach her and her son moves over to that marked spot. If two or more people complete the quest, then there two be two or more loads of that artifact, which explains why there are two arms on the left side, too.

mix pur breed nord on nord and argonian on argonian and khajiit on khajiit and we wont have these sorts of hybrids and scaring new comers to the land of nirn.1 -
