Other than Vvardenfell of course :) It would be Blackreach from Skyrim! Boy oh boy did i LOVE the atmosphere of the Ancient Dwemer City within this enormous cavern (including the cave itself). ZoS, if you ever plan to incorporate this place in ESO, please don't change a thing. :)

I tried to play Morrowind, but after having been introduced to TES through Oblivion and then later Skyrim, found that I just couldn't play Morrowind with its clunky game engine.

Would really like to see Morrowind updated with a newer engine ... or introduced in ESO as it was meant to be seen.

I'm totally with you on Blackreach. I think I've said this a few times on the forums, but exploring Blackreach put me in mind of the old D1-3 Descent into the Depths of the Earth and Vault of the Drow modules for AD&D. Loved it.

A bit off topic, but there is a project called Tamriel revisited for Skyrim where they are adding almost the whole of Tamriel with exploration and quests etc. There is a group especially dedicated to building Morrowind in the 4th era from scratch. They also are also trying to be more lore-friendly by adding different architectural styles for the different great houses as seen in the original Morrowind game...

Thanks. Just noticed belatedly (and stupidly) that your first link mods the original Morrowind game. If that's the case, then I assume it will still be built upon the clunky game engine one which Morrowind was built - great for its day, but sadly outdated by subsequent TES releases.

Had heard RUMINT that some sharp tack out there was building the original Morrowind storyline on the Skyrim game engine. As that would be a staggeringly huge undertaking, can see how such rumors would be false.

If I have to narrow it down to a city, definitely Balmorra on Vvardenfell. But, yeah, the entire island of Vvardenfell would be amazing.

Concur. It was among my favorite locations in all of TES.

There are many neat locations in the newer ES games. But the island of Vvardenfell from Morrowind will always have a special place in my dunmer heart... and I for one would love to be able to visit it in ESO, someday.
