I finished main quest at lvl 47...so im in cadwells ssilver now in DC (original EP).

Do i keep playing there or will i miss exp later on in vet ranks? or should i just keep lvling there to vr1 and beyond?

Just keep playing there, unless you're not enjoying it.

The main point is to get to VR1 and beyond to access the one-time only CP bonus points. If there are undone quests in EP, you can do those. If not, then by all means play in the vet areas. Don't forget the DC starter islands. Quite a few quests there.

edit: Also, dolmens and world bosses are good for experience. BTW, to edit OP, check upper left for options. Think I read you get edit option if you hover there.

It all depends really. Is this your only character? If so, to get any Champion Points in a few weeks during the initial allocation, you need to have VR Experience. And not just reach VR1, but at least 200,000 points into that to get 1 CP. So, if this is your only character, I would keep playing. Yes, you will earn CPs by playing once 1.6 comes out.

Here is a hint though. I helped a player last night get from L46 to VR1 in about a 2 hours at the Vile Lab Zombie Farm. Well, I left when he was halfway through L49, but another player was there to run the pattern with them. So, you can get to VR1 tonight if you want. If you need help on the pattern, let me know tonight, I have to do the Public Dungeon up there tonight with a friend, but after that, I can help you grind. I need some loot anyway for decon training of an Alt. Heck, if your EP, you can run the Dungeon with us and probably get a level or two out of it.

Now, if you want to just gain CPs once this goes live, then you may want to park your current character once you get to VR1, and start leveling an Alt.

This is my first character...and i dont really care alot about CP... i kinda consider them a byproduct of playing the game as i would without them..

But my question is WILL I MISS ANY XP LATER IF I START VR CONTENT AT LOWER LVL THAN VR1?

I guess i didnt phrase the question very good

As soon as you hit VR1 that xp starts counting toward your total for CP.

I mean, you'll miss out on XP from kills you'd be getting in lower-level zones, but if you're hitting Cadwell's Silver at 47, you've already skipped enough that you know that.

But will you miss out on XP from major things like quests, etc.? No.

You will get all the Quest Experience that you should, and as long as you are not more than 5 levels off the mobs, you will get kill experience from them too.

However, just know, your going to be facing VR1 leveled mobs even in the starter islands for Silver, and those are a bit tougher than your used to. Not impossible, just harder.

However right now at L47 you are in the sweet spot for leveling skills by grinding on Zombies. I would still spend some time at the Vile Lab leveling up skills that you have neglected or have not leveled yet. I got 3 skills from Rank1/2 to Rank 4 last night, and go the last two levels of the Fighters Guild too from the Zombies. All in about 2 hours. Once you reach VR2, then the zombies just give loot and little to no experience from kills. You can still level your skills in the Silver Zones, it will just take a little longer as your not going to be pulling the same large mobs for a while.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

xDDDD how ppl dont understand me..

IF I AM LVL 47 AND I START NOW DOING CADWELLS SILVER AKA QUESTING IN VR ZONE...WILL I HAVE ENOUGH EXP FROM QUESTS SO I DONT HAVE TO GRIND LATER ON VR10+?

i guess thats easier...but now i looked on the xp table for each lvl and i dont think 350k exp will make much of a difference..
