I wasn't aware that we were all subscribing to this game for the chance at fluff rewards down the line.
The Loyalty Rewards program was simply a way to offer players a little cosmetic item to show off their commitment to the game. There's always going to be a cutoff for that reward, and some people are always going to miss that cutoff. It doesn't mean that your subscription was "meaningless". It just means that you didn't qualify for the free gift.

"LOL" (Gotta say it now that it's gone, I admit I laughed.)
I can understand how you feel about not making it to the cut off date, but you and tons of other people are in the exact same boat, including myself. I definitely did not hit the deadline for the whatever prize they're giving to loyal subscribers since day one. I'm not upset, because ZOS is following the classic guidelines of "B2P" and "F2P" which is, if you didn't get something super cool and unique now, you'll get something like it later on for other reasons.
Games like these love giving away unique cosmetic stuff to help players acquire a sense of standing out from others which in turn encourages players to spend more money on the game to acquire such unique items. They'll probably throw some "once only" unique events on certain days or for limited periods of time that will give items that will never be obtainable again within the game. Sometimes (if the items are trade-able) it might create a collector's economy which is often the case in some of these games.
Don't worry, you'll get something super unique eventually, and next time it'll probably be easier to achieve then having played the game since day one.

I just wanted to say, well said haha
as well as add, you shouldn't have gotten "nothing" brandon, you got your play time plus an Ice Wraith and a Dwemer Sphere. Just because they aren't the items that you wanted on the list of rewards, you shouldn't call it "nothing". IMO it's kinda insulting to the people that created those particular nice little gifts.

No no no. Zenimax/Bethada gave an official statement months ago that all Loyalty rewards will be available for those who meet the subscription criteria." When they posted the Road Ahead Commentary, they effectively gave us ONE FREAKEN SINGLE MONTH to be able to meet the criteria for the FINAL loyalty reward that will never be available in the future anymore. If they announced such change and gave us a sufficient time for us to show our level of loyalty, we would have done so. If they truly want to test our loyalty, then they should provide ALL the loyalty rewards to those who apply additional subscription time up until the Unlimited launch and hand out the loyalty rewards once our prepaid gametimes become elapsed into the future. That would be the most fair way to treat those who are loyal to the game, but were unfortunate to start at the launch of ESO due to extraordinary RL reasons.

Can't you still do that for the senche mount? it doesn't count elapsed time, the jesters costume does, at least to my understanding. When most of us got our subscriptions that pushed us past into getting the senche mount, we were never told there would be a loyalty program to begin with... doing it without expecting the reward is basically what is separating the fans who are getting the mount from the fans who just want the reward... the people who paid without expecting this EXTRA stuff to begin with are the ones getting it
edit: and I dunno why it matters how much time they give you when they announce it.. since anyone unable to get it, wont be getting it anyways? complaining about "ONE FREAKEN SINGLE MONTH" is completely irrelevant... since if you don't have time.. then you don't have the time

And here you are claiming that I do not qualify the Mask because I am less loyal since I did not subscribe since the game's launch. I am not saying we should be given the chance to buy our way through here. ESO promised us that eventually, all the loyalty rewards will be available for those who remain subscribed (yes, the official statement from the beginning of loyalty reward). Now, they decide to remove the Loyalty Program, which I am OK with in the first place, but what devastates us is that they told about this a single freaken month prior to the complete removal of the system. That runs contrary to their original statement that these rewards will be available for everyone once they continue to subscribe. You claim that we don't deserve it since we do not meet the criteria, but there are those who have done everything we can (minus the extraordinary RL circumstances that kept us away from the Launch date), who have maintained our subscription with the expectation that we will eventually get our Loyalty rewards someday. Not only are we deprived of this opportunity, ESO is running completely contrary to their original statements.
The most equitable and meaningful solution would be to set the Unlimited launch date as the final date and allow those who have prepaid for 9 months worth of subscription, to receive the Loyalty Mask once our prepaid gametime gets applied as time goes by.

All I stated was that we did it without expecting a reward back? I'd love to see where I claimed to be more loyal then yourself? I said those us of who did it without expecting a reward back are getting it? As opposed to the ones who just want the reward? Is that what you are talking about? Because no where did I claim to be more loyal. No amount of money or a mount can prove that.
Stop putting words in my mouth, no where did I claim to be more loyal, you can say that "I" (myself) did this all you want, but that does not make it true. I did not state anywhere that you did not deserve it.. and quite honestly with your lack of understanding on how to quote people/cite sources, unless I see a source from a ZoS employee I am forced to not believe anything coming from you that you "claim" that they said.
I personally never seen them say that /all/ loyalty rewards will be obtainable, to my knowledge it was every 3 months you get "that" months reward. Not the previous ones.
I could however understand offering the mask to those who paid for 9 months of time, rather then elapsed time.
