How will copied console characters work?

So I assumed that when I moved to console, my characters and account would disappear from the mac/pc version of the servers.
I'm excited to learn that it will be a copy on both servers. (or at least that's what I got from the most recent ESO live ep10)
I also heard from you that after that point, the accounts will be separate. if i want an ESO plus account I would have to pay for both pc and console if I wanted to continue to play both. (makes sense to me)
SO! I think i know the answers to these already, but:
1. When my char/account is copied will those characters be totally separate? Never be effected by the progression of the other. (eternally separated twins?)
2. Will there ever be an option to copy characters in the future in the same way?

I'm not gonna dig up the posts, but they stated after being copied character progression is totally separate
and as of now character copies are this one time only.
I'm not prejudiced; I hate everyone equally !

I'm assuming they will take a copy of the data relating to your character in the pc data and import it into the console db of your choice.

Might be interesting to see if they reserve db uri from the pc version so they don't conflict with uris on the console db. if not someone might get your character.

I'd be really surprised if they synced constantly.

I was under the impression that the char was not copied, he was transferred over, and removed from the pc/mac server.
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

It was confirmed...it's a copy of all characters, bank, inventory.

Not mail, not guilds, not auctions

Mir also reads like more than one copy can occur so I'd guess that PC progression is copied to overwrite console (some limitations will apply)

All of this only relate to PC accounts created prior to June 30, 2014

thanks @Nyghthowler. and I agree @jelliedsoup. I don't think they will sync. but having 2 copies of my char was actually above my expectations. So I figured I'd put out questions outlining all my hopes and dreams.
    thanks guys.
