Minus dynamic mobs scale, ESO could become like a traditional TES experience, let me explain.
- With champion point your character become a little bit stronger everytime you invest a point in. In that regards it's very close to Skyrim or even Oblivion, of course you still get 2 systems, CS and skills levelling.
- We don't need levels to be displayed anymore. Some zone or challenge could be hard, hard would require to have some champion points in order to mitigate damage or do a better DPS etc...
- The crafting is already perfect, we could have a flat gear, only the original crafting material is taken into account, not the level. Like in a traditional TES, the better is the material, the better is the item (it's already the case anyway). Later zone will hold better materials, you could totally get them at level 1, but it would require to be very sneaky, or to be in group.
- The skills system is already a levelling system of it's own, we have 3 levelling system in the game now, the CS, the skills and the normal/VR levels, this is too much.
- Removing levels will gives a bit more freedom, even if it's only virtual, story quests would still be chained and gated, but you could totally walk to any zones, like in Morrowind, as the enemies are not scaled on you but have a "level of power", you'll feel squisher in later zone, or it'll be just impossible. Content is still gated, but not only because of your level, because your character is not powerful enough because you've not unlocked the right "skills" in the constellation.
- Keep veteran dungeon and trial very hard, players will find a way to identify players with not enough CP to do them.
