And this comment is exactly why ZoS needs to have a new look at the other 3 Classes in regards to Healing. The fact that someone even thinks it's impossible without a Templar Healer (which is lols, ALL Classes have Healed ALL content) is what's wrong with the "Class" system in ESO. To @michael.patersonrwb17_ESO great job showing Classist snobs that Templar isn't the almighty Healing God that many think it is.

As for not using a templar, I personally find that Sorcs have much more healing flexibility than Templars, however Solar is pretty great

I don't think it's impossible - I'd very much like to use my Nightblade healer more often. But most of the time, a group will prefer my Templar (and Templars are pretty amazing at healing).

You seem to be saying that ZOS need to look at the classes because people have the wrong perception of them and Templars aren't over-powered as commonly thought.

So why do ZOS need to look at the classes? There appears to be less need for class changes, and more need for better-informed perception of the the classes.

Just re - rolled my dk to his original role... a shield healer i got bored to do the tank ( always get beated hard by mobs ....... nothing else) now i hope some group will accept me.... dk are even awesome healers but the lack of burst it makes the job a little more difficult and i so belive that for the sorc are the same.

DK's have the highest capable of burst Healing in the game in groups over 4 Players. And yes DK's are awesome Healers, it's about time that many in ESO get over the fact that Templar isn't the only Healing Class nor the best, it's just uniquely suited for many tasks and in certain circumstances is superior to the other 3 Classes. But this can be said about all 4 Classes, each have a time/place where they are superior to the others. That said, certainly Templar is the easiest to Heal with when you are in a group of bads that stand in Fire or don't block Boss attacks, or show up with say 1749 Health to a Vet Dungeon/Trial, etc.

I was mainly on full healing, though I did use a destruction staff for dps when I could

Well update 6 will be out in less than 2 weeks (so people assume), my build wont exist for that honestly, better off saving the gold and upgrade materials and glyphs for update 6

I'm another non templar healer. I've healed all content in the game minus Sanctum Hardmode (we haven't tried yet). Frankly, all content in the game is able to be healed with nothing more than the spells on a resto staff. Ideally, one would put a class skill or 2 on their bar for the passives, but this bar that has skills that all classes can have could get you through anything:
Combat Prayer-Nuke heal with a great short term buff.
Mutagen/Rapid Regen- I like Mutagen for the Oh Sh*t factor built in, but either morph will do. Keep this on your 4 man team all the time.
Healing Ward- The Emergency Button. Not magika efficient, but does the job to save someone that just F'ed up.
Healing Springs- Your go to heal. This is what you should use more often than anything else especially in 12 mans because of it's magika efficiency and the fact that it stacks with itself.
Inner Light- Crit heals are better heals.

Ultimate- Barrier is a great choice here, but if you don't have it, it can be replaced by the most useful ultimate in your class- Sorc: Negate
DK: Magma or Standard
Nightblade: Veil of blades
Templar: I'm not talking to you... Go keybind everything on your keyboard to breath of life or something...

Do what you want with your off bar, but I'd put spell sym on there somewhere and keep inner light so you don't lose it when weapon swapping. I would even put Quick siphon or Siphon spirit on this bar, because it's useful sometimes XD.

Again, this is not the best setup, because you aren't getting any of your class passives... It's more to prove a point. You can easilly move Combat prayer to your back bar for a class skill such as funnel health for nightblades. Depending on how good you are at switching weapons, you could move Mutagen to your back bar for another class skill up front.
