Champion System is Perfect

Back from a few days of testing in PTS, i can conclude that the system is perfect for the game. Yes there are lots of bugs, thats why we are testing it and tell ZOS about these bugs, but overall, the system brings more fun and longetivity to the game. This game offers almost infinite numbers of builds, players can play whatever way they want.

But PVP is not a simple thing, and you cant achieve anything through complaining. In PVP players want to be more powerful than others, all players want to be the best player or want their group to be the best. Investing time in a game you love can make you achieve more than other players of course, like in real life, time is everything we need. But this game is not forcing any player on how much time is needed to be competitive.

The champion system is not a long grind, it is a continuous reward for all of us. But keep this in mind, build is what matters and not the amount of CP. I will make Sheliza as an example, a player with 70 CP vs Sheliza with no CP. Sheliza still stands Unkillable. It is all about build, it is all about outsmarting other players in PVP, which is supposed to be the way.

We will hear more complains everyday, as we did since day 1 of this game, but this game is functioning as it is needed, to make us play and waste our time while we have nothing to do. To play after everyday of work in real life and to release those stress.

I dont know about how other players treat this game, but i know lots of you guys are treating it as just 1 of your hobbies, like me.

I myself have tried grinding, it is no fun and all of us can agree on that. I have enjoyed leveling from 1-49, reading every script, getting attached to scenes and story of each quest. I felt like it was a real adventure. Picking every raw mats along the way, feeding horses everyday, learning crafting trades. And that anticipation of my final stand against molag bal, it was epic.

From that time when i defeated molag bal, it was time for Veteran Rank, i went to 2nd faction. But there are so few players in veteran zone. Then i can read lots of complains in forum, but id rather find a way to enjoy the game that to complain. So i went to grind in craglorn, yes it was boring but it is up to you how to make it not so boring at all. I only grind after harvesting mats, sell, and pvp. Forcing yourself to reach a level will make it boring. That is same case for CP, so i suggest dont rush for it.

After reaching VR14, i didnt reach the boredom level yet. I still have a lot of fun things to do in the game. I continued to get rich, and becoming rich ingame is a very wide aspect of a game, i can say it is at the same level with PVP, but it depends on player's preferences, for me that love almost everything a game has to offer without complaining, that 15 bucks a month was so worth it, sometimes i can say to myself that it was so cheap and yet it is more fun than going to a bar or moviehouse.

And so i became one of the respected and well-known vendor of all things, my character Sheliza. I did everthing that i became so busy at one point of the game. I had to give up few professions in the game because it has turned me playing more time than i supposed to. Never forget your real life value, addiction in anything is not good.

Then as one of the richest, VR14 in game, i went to think of another things to do. I have seen emperors in the game, it catches my attention. I have no PVP guild, no PVE guild to, some people said it is impossible for me to become emperor. I took those words as a challenge, and a way to have some more fun.

I studied how to become emperor, and knowing everything how to get it made it not so impossible, but trust me it is close to impossible. My first try was inThornblade, a campaign full of competition, but stilli wanna have some challenge by doing it alone without any help from any guild. By the time the campaign restarted, i went to pvp, bringing everything that is needed, like a soldier in full battle gear going into a war. It was my mission at some point in this game, so if you sey something that you want to achieve, you will never get bored.

Agree, tested it and I love it.The passives are awesome and they really tempt you to grind them. But its not the purpose of it.It is to give longetivity to the game and so you dont feel like there is no more progression in your maxed character other than gear.Grinding them by doing a single boring activities (spellscar for example) its just going to make you hate the game when you realise all the huge amount of hrs you have spend doing the same thing.Just let those points come naturally, doing raids, dungeons, questing ect ect.Love the system.

I was expecting this to be a very sarcastic post full of jabs and jokes.

Nice to read. I'm not yet level 50... so I'm looking forward to being part of the Champion System when I get there!
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

When I first tested this system with my sad 70 points the system did nothing for me and was a barely noticable change. I didn't even think maxing out points would because 70 points was so useless. However when i got 3600 points to test it was very different story.

All I know is 3600 pts made me super strong compared to 70 points. My HP, MP, Stam regen so fast and I could do so much more and spam my skills almost all day. It doesn't seem that way by looking at the imrovements it gives you but they all work together to give you something great. I.E. 100 pts for stamina regen is only 25% but you can also max out reduce stamina usage at 18%, incrase the stamina/magicka given back from a heavy attack, and reduce bash or roll and you get something really great and sustainable.

I like the system because it rewards you slowly but doesn't give you that pressure to grind all day. I personally will grind till enlightment is gone then pvp or something. Just what ESO needed.
