Dear @Zenimax and @Bethesda,

I really enjoy your game but it bothers me that I am unable to get access into the other two factions areas. I like to explore and really feel let down that I am limited to my factions land to do this. Below I have listed two ways that this could be done without ruining the mechanics of PvE and/or PvP.

1.)Treat people from opposing factions in your area as if they had a high bounty. Kill for a reward or guards/NPC would kill on sight.

2.)Have outfits that would allow you to walk around town without being noticed by the NPCs however if a player got close enough they could tell/kill. This could also allow for the player to do quests that didn't have anything to do with plot (ie. collect resources for npc)

When this game first came out I hoped for a game where I could explore the world with one charactor. It ruins the immersion for me to have to log out and log into another charactor just to explore other parts of the world. If anybody else has any suggestions please feel free to add them into the comments below.

Thank you.

That's what Cadwell's Silver and Cadwell's Gold are for. You can experience all three alliances on one character.

    Is this a joke ?

Level 50 to Veteran 10 zone is the other two factions Zones.

Which is by the way what most people hate.

You'd be surprised at how many players don't know that there are even zones available after beating the storyline.

I had to help a player earlier today get to Craglorn. He was asking about it and didn't even know where it was or how to get there.

OP, you will be happy to know that not only do you get to see other factions zones on one character, you also get to do all their quests as well.

    Hurray...

Yes. After you defeat the storyline (Molag Bal), talk to Cadwell at the Harborage and he will give you access to Cadwell's Silver, your first set of veteran zones. After you defeat Cadwell's Silver, he will give you access to Cadwell's Gold, your second set of veteran zones.

One of the best things Aion had was the random portals that would open up for a short time in random locations , that would allow you to cross over to the other factions pve quest area, it was fun as you could have pvp happen outside of the pvp area.

But seeing how most of the player base would hate to get pvp in their pve . i guess it wouldn`t work here .

very odd since i was able to go into both the pac and covent areas as I progressed through the game. Guess you did not complete your quests to know this
Magic is impressive but now Minsc leads SWORDS FOR EVERYONE!!

This. Cadwell's Silver and Gold have always been, for me, a blight. I am coming to the end of Cadwell's Silver now (3 VR levels above where I should be) and while most of it didn't contravene my "Will not act to weaken the pact" rule some sections did. That annoyed the heck out of me.
I am all for exploring the whole of the world with one character, but I think that should be in terms of the continuing struggle against Molag Bal and his cultists not as a piece of "...walk a mile in another mer's shoes" alternate timeline insanity.

To say it feels contrived and fundamentally OOC for my poor Dunmeri Sorcerer is to not even say the half of it.

Personally I liked cadwells. Of course... it IS a bit jarring to run my dunmer into "enemy territory" and help them by doing all those quests...

And I sometimes wish after finishing cadwells gold, you would have a option to switch your map access to a "veteran zone" version of all the maps within your original storyline... meaning for one, all your "home" maps will be scaled to, say, V12, and all the other maps will be as well, but you will be considered "hostile" by all guards and "native fraction veteran zone" players there... and for another, instead of the old "play the other storylines" quests, will get a new set of "infiltrate the enemy lands for your alliance" daily quests... sort of, turning all the maps into "home team versus invaders" PvE/PvP mix maps...

Ah, prolly too much effort for the programmers to ever make us something like that...

You touch the stone. It pops you into some alternate reality usually referred to as "Cadwells silver" or "Cadwells gold" around here, where for some strange reason every person will see you not as who you really are, but some friendly face, loyal to the local alliance.
I know... i know... its wierd. And if not for all the loot, I would write it off as cadwell spiking my characters supper with magic mushrooms or something... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

One of the best things about the game for me is the ability to play levels 1-50 with three different characters and do substantially different content (guild quests and main story apart) in the different Alliance areas. I personally have no wish to do the cross-over veteran content - at least before I've seen all the areas with characters from those Alliances and after that only if I can get my head around the lore aspect of it. I also don't want to have cross-over content below level 50.

Nor do I wish to have open world PvP which has been discussed here many times. Not only does it threaten to spoil the game for non-PvPers (even with PvP disabled for them), but it spreads the PvP population thinly across the world so that Cyrodil campaigns become even less viable than currently.
