Templar Pucturing Sweep weopon crit or spell crit?

I put this question in the class/skills section with no response. I know biting jabs was changed to work with weapon damage, is puncturing sweep spell damage with weapon crit or spell crit. I am assuming weapon crit (and because I thought melee was always weapon crit). Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

With 1.6, all skills that consume magicka use spell critical, and skills that consume stamina use weapon critical.

Yeah, I was about to post this.

If you want to check on live, find (or make) a ring of weapon or spell power, and equip it, check your damage, and swap back. If it's spell power, that will change the damage numbers, if it's weapon power, then you'll know.

So far as I know, even on live, weapon power/weapon crit, and spell power/spell crit are always paired. But, yeah, this will get a lot easier on 1.6.

Thanks for the responses Smepic and Starkerealm, that is a major change. Overall it makes sense to do it this way. Overall, these are major changes. Would have been good if they would have thought of all of this from the beginning.
