Hi,
I recently moved to ESO from GW2 after having played from Day 1.I have to say ESO has been amazing so far and am glad i tried it and looking to spend quite a lot of time here.
i do have few things that i noticed with comparison from GW2(am guessing, many more will move) that i hope ESO considers in future!

1. Free Rezzing- in GW2 , u can resurrect anyone, this has created a very friendly community as most people often slow down or take time to rezz u. especially in PVP.
ESO seems to have some soul thing which runs out all the time, i wish ESO would make this free especially in PVP where the map is too large and running all the way is a pain!

2. battling monster over ur lvl - in GW2, u can take down mosters with 2 lvls higher than u with kiting etc, in ESO this is really difficult, the mobs generally 2 shot u even if they are 2 lvls higher than u.

3.Sever Lag - i play from Dubai, i rarely go over 200 ping in GW2 and its rare that i stay inside 200 ping in ESO

4.World bosses - the world bosses in GW2 are amazing, i really wish there was something like that in ESO, ive only seen Rift style events.

5. Lot of running and Horses is too expensive, this is especially a big pain in cyrodil

6.Story has too many breaks - Leveling in ESO seems to take too long, i often forget the main story and what happened by the time the next part of the main story gets active. next time i am guessing i have to lvl till 50 and then start the main story jsut to have proper immersion!

7. Culling - this was a big big issue in GW2 which they later solved by loading low res models before the actual models in PVP, the characters including NPC dont seem to load that fast in ESO , this is a bigger problem when ur playing with a higher ping.

i will add few more as i think over,i Hope ESO will fix some of these issues in the future

    1. Once you reach endgame, soulgems become extremely common/cheap. As you get more experience in the game, you will die much less often and will start accumulating them too.
    2. Maybe that has to do with your build, unless you're trying to fight World or public dungeon bosses that are designed to be killed by a group of players. Try blocking heavy attacks, interrupting casts, dodging out of AOE and it should be quite easy.
    3. ESO is "a bit" laggy indeed.
    4. They're not a very important part of the world imo, a bit like dolmens. Clear it once and move on. It would be nice to see a change there.
    5. Rejoice, you will soon be able to buy horses for 900 crowns / 9$. While playing normally and not spending gold at the merchants, you should get enough gold to buy the most expensive horse (42K) by the time you reach your alliance's last zone. The least expensive one is doable around level 20-25. If you spend some time harvesting and selling materials, it's much faster, since you can sell some valuable flowers 150g apiece.
    6. It's possible to skip the main story and do just your alliance's quests. Then, when you're level 50 in Coldharbour, go talk to the prophet and do all the main quests in a row. That feels more natural imo.
    7. The game is sometimes unresponsive. Try to hit ESC twice, weapon swap or use /reloadui. It helps very often.
    Wololo.

1] Games these days need to make staying alive MEAN something.. I miss the good old days of corpse fetching.. Some games you actually dropped your ITEMS and had to either fetch it within a matter of time or they disappeared with your body.. Kinda made you think about your risk/reward...

2] Again why should it be easy to round up 30 creatures and instgibb them?

3] What server are you playing on as I have not had much if any lag.

4] Eh I guess there could be a little more depth to world bosses.

5] Again you can get a horse and FEED him.. Raise the speed stat.

6] Not many breaks just move to newer areas. There are also many quest from random areas/NPCs'.. You kinda make your own story.

7] Again, I never had this happen..

Anything useful that players are wanting added into the game all fall under the category of "Yer ruinin my 'mersion!" Sallington

Hey @salluks‌ ! Welcome to ESO, only one I wanted to address was #2

This one might be a problem with your build or armor needing repairs. Generally it's fairly easy to take on enemies that are within at least 5 levels of your character.

It might also have to do with player skill and knowledge of your class, which generally comes with time. Stick with it and I'm sure you'll get it down :)

That Rezzing costs is a minor annoyance. With free Rezzes it may become to hard to break Sieges.

    2. battling monster over ur lvl - in GW2, u can take down mosters with 2 lvls higher than u with kiting etc, in ESO this is really difficult, the mobs generally 2 shot u even if they are 2 lvls higher than u.
Now you are getting things wrong. As level 15 í ESO you can kill level 30 monster. Now this task is impossible in GW2 thanks to their bad leveling scaling, as soon as mob hits 8 levels above you it is just MISS MISS MISS MISS.
3.Sever Lag - i play from Dubai, i rarely go over 200 ping in GW2 and its rare that i stay inside 200 ping in ESO
You on EU or US Megaserver ?
4.World bosses - the world bosses in GW2 are amazing, i really wish there was something like that in ESO, ive only seen Rift style events.
Do you mean these big events where everyone is a winner ? The only reason people still log into GW2 expect for the Daily Reward for logging into the game.

Dolems are mini that kind of things.
    5. Lot of running and Horses is too expensive, this is especially a big pain in cyrodil
At least there are horses, also when you get bit higher level you will have too much money. So Horse problem is only for low levels. Did you know that when WoW came out you needed level 40 for first mount ? Think about it like that.
6.Story has too many breaks - Leveling in ESO seems to take too long, i often forget the main story and what happened by the time the next part of the main story gets active. next time i am guessing i have to lvl till 50 and then start the main story jsut to have proper immersion!
Some people argue what the main story is. Some say it is the Alliance Story, the one involved with your King/Queen.

And yea Molag Bal and Guilds are leveled to your level, so if you do them as level 45 it will be all 45 enemies, so don't rush it.
    7. Culling - this was a big big issue in GW2 which they later solved by loading low res models before the actual models in PVP, the characters including NPC dont seem to load that fast in ESO , this is a bigger problem when ur playing with a higher ping.
I think this is higher pink issue or PC issue as I don't experience it.

Welcome to the game. If I could suggest a couple things: 1) Stay away from zergs in PVP to avoid the worst lag imaginable. 2) Take all your preconceived notions of a typical MMO and throw them out the window. Trying to follow the MMO archetype will just frustrate you. Being too unique is ESO's best and worst quality.
I'm 12, and what is this?

Regarding your second point and enemy strength in general:

When targeting an enemy, you'll see his health bar in the top center of your screen.

If there is one small red pip on each side of the bar, then that enemy is similar to Guild Wars 2's "veterans". I.e. don't attack it alone unless you know what you're doing.

Some enemies will have two pips on each side. These are like GW2's "champions".

The hardest ones have three pips on each side and they're one level above. Unfortunately I don't remember how these were called in GW2. :)

Oh and yes, I've played GW2 before ESO as well, but I got sick of their update politics (tiny rehashed updates every two weeks with ~90% of content going to the cash shop). It became better with "season two" of the living story, but still ESO won big time for me.
