Can you change appearance after character creation?

Hey guys just got my copy of Elder Scrolls Online today and excited to hop in and play. I'm at the character creation screen and was wondering if you are able to change appearances after the first time (that way I know how much time I would have to spend on my character). Much appreciated, and sorry if this is in the wrong section.

You can't change appearance after character creating at this time. Pick your face, hairstyle, height and voice carefully.

God I hope they introduce changing appearance AND name change into the crown store some time in the future HINT HINT NUDGE NUDGE (too obvious?)

they most definetly will. many will agree to pay and change their looks and name.

But considering that a thread asking for it pops up every other week... and that we'll be getting a cash store... I'm hopeful. I have several characters I'd want to correct some minor details...

Listen to all the voice snippets before deciding on one. I picked one voice because I liked the laugh/cheer sound. Then I found out the grunts and groans during combat that occur far more often were very annoying. So, listen to each and every snippet before you make your voice choice.

Beyond that, zoom in and out on your character and spin them around while making them. Facial features will look way different from an angle or profile than they do straight on. Same with over face design, it can look good from far away and not up close, or, more often than you think it would look good up close and fugly from a distance.

My first character, who is VR12, made during release week is one I still have a helmet enabled on as he just looks like the Pillsbury doughboy who has been on the losing side of a boxing match that went 70 rounds. And got his eyes squished together somehow.

Nope. Just like a bunch of other things this game lacks.

Come on @Nestor, you can't say something like that without giving us a picture! I want to see this doughboy!
