Good points and I feel the same and no, you asking such questions (or any of us asking them) is not about gloom and dooming. We are paying consumers and would like to know where are our dollars are going please.

We are paying consumers of a service, i.e. what we pay is for now, not the future, because it's likely to change. If you don't like where it is now, then don't pay. If you do, then do. But don't pay because they say that they're going to do something...
Another part of our transition to Tamriel Unlimited will include the retirement of the Loyalty Program.
We'll constantly be working on new Crown Store items, so expect to see them rolled out on the PTS from time to time.
The main thing you need to read from the Road Ahead to answer your question is this one line:We'll constantly be working on new Crown Store items, so expect to see them rolled out on the PTS from time to time.
They already stated that spellcrafting is not being worked on anymore and they will be letting the game "breath" after console launch. So after 1.6 not much of anything and then after the console launch a prolonged "breathing" period. They will however be working constantly on adding things to buy in the Crown Store so I guess you can get your wallet ready for some purchases to tide you over until 2016 when you might get some new playable content. Or not.

Your comment is rude and uncalled for. I have stated very clearly anumber of times around here that, I did not pay my sub for the game's "potential" as it were. Do not confuse wanting information on the direction of the game with confusion over where it is at this moment.

How is it rude? And it's definitely not uncalled for. How we spend our money for a service in no way entitles us to any information nor influence on direction. A good company will do such things, but the reality of the situation is quite different. Above the service paid for, we're entitled to exactly what they give us... no more or less. And that is what we should base our expenditures on.
I hear many times ZOS promised us... or ZOS said... or any other variations on this inserting different names, or even customer service names.
The only thing that we can depend on is what is released. The other things are nice to know, and shouldn't really influence our spending decisions. Because they are more apt to change in some fashion than not. They even make that disclaimer in a lot of cases.
Blunt? Maybe. A different opinion? Definitely. But not rude, nor uncalled for, especially as all of us can express ourselves freely, and that's what the board is for. In my opinion, by keeping focused on what they're delivering instead of what they say they'll deliver, one is not be disappointed when they don't and won't get a sense of being cheated when we got exactly what we paid for.
Because they have nothing new to say.Road Ahead--No New Information Why?
I disagree, I think it adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game world and it will lead to some organic "storytelling " just like in past TES games. Not to mention if you're a role-player it's going to add a lot of new potential RP.Because they have nothing new to say.Road Ahead--No New Information Why?
I seriously don't think they really have a clue, for example, how they'll fulfill their pledge to remove VR.
Beyond that, I see no prospect of their releasing U7 before August, that's 6 months away, and God knows we've seen many examples of ZOS statements about what will happen in a a few week's time not happen: Imperial City, anyone? No, they never said a date, yes they said it was "nearly ready" and gave every impression of an imminent announcement of a date.
I therefore think Firor had nothing to say that wouldn't aggravate an already pissed-off playerbase who've had no new content for 6 months (or a year if you're not a group-or-die fan) and see no prospect of any new stuff for 6 months more.
No, Justice isn't new content in my terms, it's a game mechanic designed to pander to the lolworldPVP brigade, and even if you're champing at the bit to play it it adds nothing to the game world, no new story arcs and a skill line that's pretty much useless for anything unrelated to Justice.

I probably wont last until 2016 when theres nothing new coming out. I feel burned out alreadyTheres literally not much to do anymore. At some point you did everything "except Master Angler". its just login for hirelings, maybe do 1 daylie, chat 10 minutes logout. log back in in the evening to do trials with guild(trials also getting kinda boring at this point), log back out and done.
I'm not trying to start one of those controversy threads, though I have to state my disappointment in the pretty much guaranteed nature of the whole "there won't be any new content for a long time" bit. Why in the world does this road ahead give us absolutely nothing to go on in terms of when to expect future content?

Yes it was rude and uncalled for, since I expressed in no way shape or form any of the things you are referring to. I was not stating anything other than an understanding of @Kevingway's post, which was pointing out that we have often lately been given these "announcements" with nothing but recycled details we already know about, which makes the very title of the "road ahead" pretty silly in the first place.
It is a logical observastion to make and one which many other people here have voiced before not just the OP.
Saying we would like more information about the proverbial "road ahead" because we are paying customers is not demaning anything. It is stating a simple fact. We would like to know more.
You want to equate that with me expressing entitlement to information or wanting to "influence direction" is total rubbish and obviously your own trip.
