My subscription renews on March 8th...

I have been a subscriber since launch, but with my renew date 9 days before free to play launch, I will miss out on the 1500 crowns. (you only earn the 1500 for every full month of subscription, which I would lose out on because my renew date is 9 days prior...)

It would be better for me to cancel my sub.. and restart it the day of the FTP launch.

Why is it that the smart thing to do, is the backward thing to do?

Can you make it so that I can stay a sub, and not be punished for my renew date of the 8th? I like knowing that I have been a subscriber since the beginning, but don't want to be punished for the renew date starting too early.

I think you get a full 1500 crown allotment for part of the month being subscribed don't you? So no need to cancel.

From the TU FAQ

"The remaining subscription time will automatically transition to ESO Plus membership. You will receive the applicable allotment of crowns in accordance with your membership benefits."

So i assume a 30 days subscription will net you 1500 crowns

If you have less than 30 remaining days, you will still receive 1500 crowns. It's in the FAQ, basically anything between 1 and 30 gives you those crowns. No need to cancel.

You can choose to remain subscribed and be converted to Tamriel unlimited or unsub and continue playing free. In effect you have the best timing allowing you to make a clean choice
