It seems early. Seems like there are still many things to iron out. But it just occurred to me... why do maint on a version that is going to be gone in a week or two?
Thoughts?

Periodic maintenance is necessary on servers to clean up memory fragmentation, left over file handles, disk errors, and all the other crap that happens in the background on long-running applications that we never see or witness as users and abusers.1 -

They happily went over a month with no maintenance during the holidays. That was when people were home on vacation and putting even more stress on the servers.

1.) The number of people who posted about reporting bugs in previous PTS versions and then noted that all the bugs were still in the live version,
to

I'm going with:
It doesn't matter whether they put it on the PTS for an hour or a month, it's still the same buggy software that ends up getting released live.
Might as well release it now, the only difference between now and later is that fewer people will have quit the game between now and the next few hours than will have quit between now and mid-March.
