What Happens If I'm In DC & Friend Is In EP?

Just started playing with a friend and he's in Ebonheart Pact as a Nord. I'm playing as an Orc and joined EP with him but I'm thinking about re-rolling and switching to Daggerfall Covenant instead because I feel it fits my race better. It may not make a big difference, but it's due to immersion, I just feel I'd be more comfortable being in DC.

I'm just wondering though... What will happen in regards to my friend? Will I still be able to talk to him, trade with him, quest with him, do dungeons etc or are there Alliance restrictions?

I did notice that in my guild we have members from all three factions which I do seem to be able to talk to.

You will be able to talk with your friend if they share a guild with you (or through account-to-account mail). But everything else you listed is not doable cross-faction.

You'll be able to talk to him via whispers and an in-game guild if you're both in the same guild, you'll be able to trade items with him via the in-game mail system. As for questing, dungeons, PvP, no. You won't be able to do anything of that nature with him.

/tell Name,

If you want to whisper a player of the opposing faction, keep the comma after their name and put a space after the comma, it should automatically accept and you should be able to whisper them. If you know his/her @Name then you don't need the comma, just.

/tell @‌PlayerName

No comma needed for the @Name but put a space after his name.

This is the third time you ask this question, you started two weeks ago. Just make up your mind already...

I even gave you the exact answer last time: "If you and your brother play in different factions, you'll be able to meet only in Cyrodiil as enemies." In Cyrodiil, nowhere else. You can talk and trade, but not play together.
