Am i the only one who will miss "miss-chance" and the original NB-skill "Blur"? (Evasion-Tanks)

I'm gonna be straight honest with you guys, i've build a nice hobbytank-build for my Nightblade in 7/7 Medium-Armor and stacked the skills "Elude" (22% dodgechance) Double-Take (15% Miss-chance) and the Armor-bonus of Hist-Bark (18% dodge).

Sure, testers claim that these abilities don't stack properly on 1.5 and if it did i would've had a 55% chance of not being hit at all which isn't the case.
But honestly i'm too lazy to sit there for 10 minutes and count how many times i evaded an attack.

I definetly dodge/evade way more attacks than my Sorcerer or DK in heavy-armor Hist-Bark though, so i don't care as long as it's viable for the content i'm participating in.

I don't like the future i am seeing in 1.6 where every tank has to wear the exact same armor-sets, armor-types and use the same skills.
DKs and NBs each had pretty cool class-skills (albeit underappreciated by most Nightblades) that granted miss-chance and that was the reason i went into a different direction than Heavy Armor with my Nightblade.

On 1.6 though Blur's and Cinder Storm's miss-chance got removed and replaced with what's basically the medium-armor skill costing magicka (Cinder Storm didn't even get anything).
On top of that the morph that would increase the dodgechance based on amount of medium-armor worn got replaced with a duration-increase.

Granted i haven't tested the "nerfed" build on PTS yet but i don't even want to know how bad it'll perform after losing a 17% chance of evading an attack on paper.

I'm not complaining or anything, it's just that i already have 2 heavy-armor tank-builds and am feeling a bit disappointed in the variety of tank-builds actually decreasing now rather than increasing.

I'll just post a video of an Evasion-Tank in its natural habitat, with your support and feedback this species might not go extinct :')

Well Paul sage did not like the idea of missing when it came to tanks but tbh I prefer dodge. The reason I prefer it because it actually looks like you dodge it now and I actually dodge more with blur than I did before. I am happy that this skill feels more like a evasive skill for people who are not tanks now. I also happy they have morphs for blur that distinguished what style you want with it. You have one provides dodge chance and armor boost and another with dodge chance and speed boost.

Since Blur is just a copy of Evasion in 1.6 I would rather see it reworked into a shield.

1.6 is just the end of all good things, like a meteor wiping out a civilisation after which the survivors will have to rebuild everything...

That said, i heard a healer friend complain a lot about tanks using hist bark, apperently they dodge Breath of Life heals... And die a lot more than tanks not using that set.
Beesting, Bosmer Magica DK, AD EU, crafter
Slager, Dunmer Magica DK, DC EU, pvp
Farmer, Dunmer Magica DK, AD EU, trials build

Every major patch looks like the end of the world but somehow i just cannot stop playing.

I have 3 chars who can all tank. The one unique thing about my nightblade was that she could do it in full medium armor. Honestly I don't want to have to use the same build on a third char, it's boring as shoot.
