I'm gonna be straight honest with you guys, i've build a nice hobbytank-build for my Nightblade in 7/7 Medium-Armor and stacked the skills "Elude" (22% dodgechance) Double-Take (15% Miss-chance) and the Armor-bonus of Hist-Bark (18% dodge).
Sure, testers claim that these abilities don't stack properly on 1.5 and if it did i would've had a 55% chance of not being hit at all which isn't the case.
But honestly i'm too lazy to sit there for 10 minutes and count how many times i evaded an attack.
I definetly dodge/evade way more attacks than my Sorcerer or DK in heavy-armor Hist-Bark though, so i don't care as long as it's viable for the content i'm participating in.
I don't like the future i am seeing in 1.6 where every tank has to wear the exact same armor-sets, armor-types and use the same skills.
DKs and NBs each had pretty cool class-skills (albeit underappreciated by most Nightblades) that granted miss-chance and that was the reason i went into a different direction than Heavy Armor with my Nightblade.
On 1.6 though Blur's and Cinder Storm's miss-chance got removed and replaced with what's basically the medium-armor skill costing magicka (Cinder Storm didn't even get anything).
On top of that the morph that would increase the dodgechance based on amount of medium-armor worn got replaced with a duration-increase.
Granted i haven't tested the "nerfed" build on PTS yet but i don't even want to know how bad it'll perform after losing a 17% chance of evading an attack on paper.
I'm not complaining or anything, it's just that i already have 2 heavy-armor tank-builds and am feeling a bit disappointed in the variety of tank-builds actually decreasing now rather than increasing.
I'll just post a video of an Evasion-Tank in its natural habitat, with your support and feedback this species might not go extinct :')
