Does the game supports kindness?

so, from time to time you get to make a moral decisions and was always wondering - does the game reward specially kindness and good faith?
like, does it have a specific partern for the quests, making sure you get more reward (exp \ gold \ items) if you choose to spare someone, or choose not to kill someone who is acused of something.

or... it could just not matter at all and is totally random for each quest.

thanks! :)

No difference in gold/XP, and the outcomes of the quests are not always better when you choose the "good" option. It's really up to what the player would like to do.

The game doesn't support kindness if you look at the Mages guild final quest.
If you save Valaste, you get nothing. If you let Sheogorath take her, you get 2 skillpoints.
    Goodbye Valaste. >:)

RL doesn't support kindness either... crime pays, and nice guys finish last, and whatnot.

Not true... I really loved the alternative.
You get a passive skill called Eidetic Memory from Shalidor. Every book, every note, poem, paper, letter etc that you *have* ever and in the future *do* ever pick up is saved in the same panel as Lorebooks. For players that like to have that kind of access to all the in-game writings, it's a pretty nice reward!
    May all beings have happiness
May they be free from suffering
May they find the joy that has never known suffering
May they be free from attachment and hatred

If you choose "bad" outcome, you will still get Eidetic Memory.

At least we can tell what was moral decision. If kindness paid, we could not tell moral from greedy person.

In Coldharbour, you will notice that some of your decisions affect the allies you will have at the end... although I doubt seriously that they affect that actual outcome of that quest chain since success is completely dependent on your character's actions.

Behold the liability of story-based MMO's...

Don't be sad, ZOS said they're looking into opportunities to put important NPC's into future content, and Valaste is a great candidate for this.
