How long before character deletions become available?

So I had 3/3 deletions about 24 hours ago, and I used two of them. Then, probably 22 hours later, I used the last one. Now it is over 24 hours since I made the first two deletions, and I have not accrued a new deletion yet.

Am I correct in assuming there is not a separate cooldown for each of your three deletions, but rather one cooldown that is reset upon making another?

If that is the case it seems like an incredibly lazy way to code this and it should be documented somewhere so people don't end up being stuck unable to play for days on end because they didn't get their character right in three tries.

In a game like this where you will be stuck with your design choices for months on end (no re-customization option) it is essential to be able to play the character you design to catch all the little quirks of the system.

For example, the stomach section of models with their weapon out looks concave and inhuman compared to how they look just standing there, and there is no option to simulate them standing with a weapon drawn during character creation.

With all the anti-bot measures they have in place now, isn't it maybe time to re-visit this as only something that inconveniences legit players? At the very least add a separate cooldown for each deletion!

Replying to your anti bot statement; The game is about to go B2P. If I was ZoS I wouldn't remove any counter measures just yet.

Not sure what you're doing wrong. I'm an alt'aholic and my wife almost always takes a few tries to get a character to look how she wants and neither of us have ran into an issue where we didn't have enough deletes to get what we needed.
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

You get "ONE" delete back every 24 hours. so if you burn all of yours in 24 hours you will not get all 3 back.. you will only get "one" every 24 hours and then one again 24 hours after that.. It is 24 hours from your last deletion if you delete one the timer restarts from your last deletion.

Also, it is very precise on the timer. I went through waiting 3 days to get my mage looking just the way I wanted him .... I am OCD like that.

Anything useful that players are wanting added into the game all fall under the category of "Yer ruinin my 'mersion!" Sallington

This is what I feared, and IMO as a programmer myself, is an incredibly lazy design decision.

So if I delete two failed characters, then 23.999 hours later delete another, I have to wait another full 24 hours to get ANY slots to work with?

    Bad show, ZOS.

Considering how hirelings work with that bs schedule, I'd expect nothing less

Is the cooldown going to continue to be an adequate anti-bot measure once the game goes B2P?
Seems like bots would just be run by cycling through free accounts instead -- or is B2P still going to tie a single account to a single game purchase?

Each game copy is tied to an account. Just like now.
