Also, it would be nice if it was not all DLC/cash shop and even lesser people were allowed to e.g. survive in slums.. Without running water of course.
I just want a build a bear shop in town. Forget building my own house. I'm starting small with something I can handle.
Perhaps he is a bear, and would like to be the proprietor of a shop.

Back to topic though... I for one hope player apartments will come soon, though I wouldn't need it to be a big, huge system at first. Some locations to purchase and decorate the room of your dreams would be quite enough...
Guildhalls on the other hand, for those I would like to see a neat improvement system, give those guildies something to slowly work towards! From meeting space to crafting stations, from bank access to their own herb garden where (when fully upgraded) they can pick alchemy ingredients... Dungeon Keeper style chicken farm... bee jived that drop honey comb each day... trophy hall... in-house barbershop and dye stations... so many many upgrade possibilities... especially if the place got limited "slots" for functional stuff and the guild masters would have to decide which of the many options to put there...
