Active Effects

The general purpose of this thread is to explain to ZOS what improvements are needed to the Active Effects section of the Character sheet, so that it is actually useful at showing all the Active Effects that are on your character. (This would also help add-ons like Srendarr if it had a definitive single list to directly pull all the information from.)

• Tooltips should detail what the effect does, not just repeat the effect's name. Many do this already, but they all should.
• Active Effects should show all buffs that are applied to you, whether that be by yourself through abilities or potions, or by allies.
• Active Effects should show all debuffs that are applied to you by enemies; there is no reason that you don't know what an effect is once it hits you, even if you don't know what it is when the enemy is casting it.
• Specifically, all the new Buffs/Debuffs from Update 6 should be there: Major/Minor Maim, Sorcery, Resolve, Evasion, Fortitude, Mangle, Defile etc should each be displayed there while they are active, so that you know what is affecting you and how much longer it will affect you for.
• The Champion System's Enlightenment pool should be shown here while Enlightened, so you know how much XP you have remaining in it.

I've said repeatedly here that it should show all Active Effects, because that is the point of having an Active Effects list, but if there's any specifics that take priority for you, go ahead and mention them below.

I'll start the ball rolling with some more specifics. On PTS right now there's sometimes an Active Effect called Illuminate. The tool tip for that is: "Illuminate". It would be much more useful if it actually said what it was, as I have no idea.
