Sorcs can quit their whining now

All morphs of surge now heal on critical hits, and the healing cool down is now only 0.25 seconds instead of 1 second.

It might not stop my complaining (because Surge can't be the only solution of the problem) But I thank the holy father Auri-El for this gift the mercy and love of the divines is endless and glorious.

My main is a sorcerer. What I find amusing is the fact sorc's have gone from being considered over powered to least preferred. Remember reading numerous posts last year about the only viable game play being with a "dress & stick". How times change .

Me too. I guess it was because Bolt Escape was strong and was the treasure of the Sorc. Since it got nerfed so hard, it's not so strong anymore (Only my idea though)

I can remember, before ESO was released. One guy from the guild Entropy Rising was calling the Sorc 'The Masterclass' and was making a special YouTube series for this. But things have changed somehow. Sorcerer is a weird class. It's not good at anything, but it still survives and sometimes wins at the end.

It's not only bolt escape. The Bolt Escape nerf is still there. You can cast more of everything.

That makes senses, as solo PVE character all the classes have been fine for a while. There is no class-class comparison. The balancing problems are all around team content and PVP.

As to the original point of the thread, I would agree with you if the only issue with sorcerers was surge, which is still effectively nerfed to a single target/no AOE heal. (I wonder why they did that?) It was my impression that the surge nerf was just crazy, but there are other issues as well.

No personal offense intended, but the solo dungeons are beyond simple for any class and pretty much any build can solo them. It is at end game PVE and PVP where each class' strengths and weaknesses become noticeable.

how? your magicka is increase by 9x, spell costs increased by 10x, I am not sure how the math works out in this. Please show us?

None taken. I agree with what you're saying. Pvp is of no interest to me. Public dungeons do not tickle my fancy. Could never get into them in gw2 nor this game.
Never done other end game stuff like Craglorn or trials.
