DC Cadwells Gold.....bugged?

Hey guys, I've looked all over, and cannot find anything to solve this problem of mine. I am playing on my DC toon, and as I am completing my fight with Sigmur, or Sinmur, the giant, i talk to the king, and recieve my skill points, etc. HOWEVER, the area, Trolhetta, is STILL incomplete. I have NOT gotten my Cadwells Gold completed, even though i did EXACTLY what the mission says to do. Can anyone PLEASE help me so i can actually HAVE my Gold completed?!? And if you say there is a quest called Worm Cult Summoner that i get from Plays-with-Fire, well, i CANNOT find this guy, EXCEPT in Glenumbra, and he is NOT giving me a quest. PLEASE GOD HELP!

Um, have you done the other quests there, finding some lost goods for the merchant is probably optional, but killing the guys from the book (book in town listing a bounty) and helping Aera Earthbender are probably important.

You know it lists in journal exactly what quests you need to finish to complete gold right?

Yeah, and ive kinda done them ALL. I have ALSO done Cadwells Gold, to completion, on my other toon, and completed the SILVER version of this quest line on yet a different vet. So i don't need the "hey dummy, have ya turned the power on?" speech. I am a veteran at this game, so i am WELL aware of HOW to play, and WHAT to do. What i am NOT understanding, is how there can be so many BUGS? ALL of my quests have been done. The very last one is even highlighted, as if i TOOK the mission, yet when i complete it, i get nothing. I am told to seek out Plays-with-Fire to get the last part of the quest, as i said before, but again, he is NOT where the DEV's say he is. Still awaiting their reply, but so far they gave me exact location details, but he IS NOT THERE.

Sorry strange bug. I just completed Gold the other day with a DC character and didn't have any issues. Just guessed you one of those that just assumes everything is a bug when in fact it is their own stupidity. They seem to be rampant here, so you can see why I might have jumped to that conclusion.

Yeah, i have also had/have issues where certain guild traders will appear for me off in the distance, but when i approach, they disappear. I log out, reloadui, etc. Same thing. But ONLY on certain toons. Same with my chat box disappearing. NEVER changed the settings for this EVER, yet three of my toons have this problem, the others dont. The devs think i must have changed these settings before they locked the chat boxes, but it was originally only TWO of my toons that were effected, but now it's three. So whatever caused it is spreading. Anyways, i just need to figure out why Plays-with-Fire is NOT appearing anywhere. And as far as the Devs saying he is above the Trolhetta cave entrance, I say you need to learn your game a bit better, cause you CANNOT REACH the area above Trolhetta cave!! It's a NO-GO area, and is surrounded by an invisible wall. so yeah, next idea DEV's?!?

Ok, here's the deal. If you travel BACK to the summit, then go BACK in to the cave, which actually brings you into another area, THEN this guy appears near a dragon mound looking thing. NOT ANYWHERE THEY SAID. So now, to go take a valium and TRY to calm down after two days of dealing with this fiasco. How about this, DEV's? Why not PUT ALL THE QUESTS NEEDED FOR GOLD ON THE LIST!?!? NOT just the MAIN ones. Cause this was horrible to figure out, even WITH help. Close post please.

I feel like you all were quick to flame this guy when the quest can be easily over looked seeing as it's given inside the last area you fight the boss. I talked to the guy but was trying to get the quest over with so I didn't bother with picking the side quest up. In hind sight I should have picked it up because now that I've killed sinmur and talked to the king the door back into the summit is locked. I'm hoping I'm wrong and someone could prove otherwise.

@plnkfloydian Trolhetta has two wayshrines. One is at the base and one is at the summit. If you unlocked the one at the summit, you should be able to travel back up there without going through the cave.

If you didn't unlock the wayshrine at the summit, maybe have someone who has it go there and you can travel to them.

I'm sure the OP appreciates the support, @plnkfloydian.

But, if you're at the end of Cadwell's Gold, players should be well-experienced with the concept of clearing multiple quests at an zone objective.

Especially true when said player is a self-proclaimed "veteran at this game, so i am WELL aware of HOW to play, and WHAT to do."

If I'm not sure what to do, I check out online guides or do a simple search in the forums ... and not holding the devs hostage.

For some reason this paragraph annoys me and gives me a desire to offer zero help, if in fact I had any to offer...which I don't.

Yeah, theres the main quest and two side quests at Trollhetta. One of the side quests is picked up outside before you go in with the king to find the items in the cave, then as you approach the summit, theres a quest given by an Argonian to free the giants that are being manipulated by the Worm Cult. Both those quests are pivotal to completing Trollhetta.
