Musical additions in ESO

I think a great addition to the Crown store would be a few new instruments

Harp: This instrument makes the most sense and would be the most immediately recognizable.

Kinnor: A harp-LIKE instrument... sort of between a harp and a lute.

/Rebec: Character plays a Rebec! A bow-string instrument.

HurdyGurdy: Character pulls out and cranks a Hurdy-Gurdy (could be a Dwemer instrument! Mostly though, I think the name is silly.

Citole: The sound is little different than the lute. It’s a bit more ‘plucky’ but would fit right into ESO

Pan Flute: For some reason I think of this as an Argonian instrument… maybe because bamboo and swamps.

Bagpipes: To be honest, I’m not sure if bagpipes belong in Tamriel… but why not?

Along with instruments could be songs that players could have their NPCs sing.

Players could buy different instruments as well as different songs from the Crown shop. Players who own the same song could join an in-progress song and have their playing sync with the other player playing their song.

A player playing a specific song on a harp could join with a lute. Another could join with a pan-flute. Then one with lyrics. Lastly a player with drums could round out the band. (This was suggested previously here:http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/132344/a-small-suggestion-instruments)

This would be a really interesting addition to ESO and could be a regular addition to ESO that could consistently add products to the Crown store. One song could sell multiple instruments. A world instrument skill wouldn't hurt to allow players to build their musical skills up so that we would have to learn to play specific instruments or how to play with others.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
That's right... Horse.

I already (on the PTS) found an "out of tune citole", iirc - one of the things that you can thieve/pickpocket.

I would not be averse to having more playable instruments. Not sure I'd want them through the cash store mind you, if they came that way I wouldn't buy any.
GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

Personally I would prefer the ability to make items be sold in the stores (like blueprints) and then have us have to collect the materials in game to put the item together.
