If the goal of the champion system was to allow newer players to catch up faster then a nerf would be one way to do it. Keep in mind the champion system is set to be horizontal progression for your character.i wouldn't expect it to be major advancements to your end game character. Right now based on my PTS experience it is functioning as advertised.

Day 2, put some Champion Points into various things, trash mob grinding was much easier and I didn't die. It's no where near as easy as on Live, though, because right after I committed CPoints, I logged into Live and did the exact same grind to compare. It was like someone had turned the difficulty slider down to "I'm drunk and half-awake, please take pity on me".
Also, @Panda244, I care!
i hate the numbercreep, it is silly, confusing, not needed, makes things more complicated by design, and hides changes that would otherwise be obvious.
current live numbers are perfectly fine thank you, I don't recall anyone complaining about them.
It really feels like there were huge nerfs to stats across the board.
I'm wondering if the new stat scaling was there to hide them.
If you logged into 1.6 and simply dropped from 2,500 health to 1,800 health everyone would freak out.
But if you go from 2,500 health to 14,000 health it looks like a huge increase.
Except that damage has scaled by 10x, while stats haven't.
This all seems like a huge nerf to push us into grinding Champion Points to make up for the loss.
The problem is, that at the current rate on PTS, most people are taking 4-8 hours to get 1 champion point while Enlightened.
This all seems a bit out of whack, and really feels like a setup similar to what Korean Grind Cash Shop MMOs have.

all this about grinding champ points is sillyness. on pts 40 in each tree is enough to get a feel for focusing your toon, but you can get good stats on your top choices, then you need to find ways to round out as well because of major diminishing returns, your not going to need 1000 points to develop a viable build, but more is always better:)

that whats every one was thinkink - and as ZOS didn´t denied it was ment to be true but infact its the opposite the CPsytem is an extreamly vertical progression. as they butchered the armor skillines and and placed those effects into the CPsystem
