I want rhino mounts. And safari costumes. So that I can create a guild named Jumanji, and my guildmates and I can stampede through Cyrodiil wrecking everything.

Please, I can haz?

Sorry, I thought the whole thing read sarcastically enough, heh. Especially with the "Please, I can haz?" tacked onto the end.

Lore went out the window long ago. LONG ago. There is no lore in ESO. Many of the 'lore' books you find weren't written 'til well after this time period.

Don't EVER remember seeing anything about Jester's in any of the lore, let alone their costumes. Racial lore? Shot to *** before day 1.

To claim you're against anything because "It's not in the lore!!" is short sighted and empty. The lore is long gone.

    Cool :)

It is worth understanding that conveying sarcasm is mostly about tone of voice and facial expression, and therefore it doesn't necessarily express well in a purely written format.
You need to remember that even though you can 'hear' yourself typing something in 'a sarcastic tone of voice', that is not necessarily evident to the rest of us :)
The phrase "Please, I can haz?" is a meme that has nothing to do with sarcasm whatsoever, sorry.

Silly complaint. Requiring fashion or a precise occupation to have lore documentation to be accepted is odd. Also, Cicero.

Several mentions of Jester's in the lore (in the lorebooks in the game), and the guardian of the Nightmother was disguised as a jester, was even referred to as that horrible little jester several times.

Sarcasm is if I say "Oh I can see you are being soooo sensible" (but meaning "you are being silly"). It is saying the opposite of what you mean with a particular tone of voice. It doesn't work well on the internet, but if you are going to try it the use of italics is pretty much essential in order to get the point of sarcasm across.

To be fair, he wasn't complaining about the lore being broken. He was pointing out to someone else who complained about it, that it's not exactly consistent as it is.

Beyond that he was just playing devil's advocate.

Yes, but just because it's not been entirely consistent doesn't mean we should scrap it. I would rather they get rid of the inconsistancies, but I will settle for not adding any new ones if possible.

He agrees with you, at least to the point that makes sense in an mmo vs. a single player RPG.

He just enjoys playing devil's advocate and always comes across way more rude than he actually is.

    Ah, thanks for the clarification.

Don't EVER remember seeing anything about Jester's in any of the lore, let alone their costumes.
Really? This guy doesn't ring a bell? Maybe one of the bells on his jester hat even?
    SR-npc-Cicero.jpg

No. He doesn't count as a Jester because of the lore.
Skyriim? 2,000 years into the future in regards to ESO? Think you're doing lore backwards there.
lol people who have no idea what the timeline is, and have absolutely no idea about what actually is in the lore are so amusing when they complain about things being lore-breaking...

I mean, it's not like there's a Jester's Day holiday in the calendar of Tamriel or anything... But wait, that was introduced in TES2, which took place after ESO, so therefore by your logic it's not part of the lore. Mind you every TES game takes place after ESO, so I guess you're saying there is no lore?

    No problem.

I've been with him for a decade now, I'm used to clarifying his points. LOL ;)

I think it would be perfectly acceptable BUT only if it's a western black rhino or possibly javan rhino. No others are acceptable or fit anywhere and must be killed.

    Crap, someone got it backwards!
    V14 - IMPERIAL NIGHTBLADE - DPS/TANK
    V13 - BRETON SORCERER - HEALS/DPS
    V2 - REDGUARD DRAGONKNIGHT - MELEE DPS
    V1 - BRETON TEMPLAR - TANK/DPS

to be continued... Nevermind, no longer "to be continued"

Can we have the other types ingame, but as mobs that we can kill and then cook? Incoming V10 Rhino Burger recipe!
