I will, as soon as the "Improved Snipe Skill" (giving 100% crit and 200% bonus damage for 3 sec) arrives at the crown store.

I have actually thought of a Bow skilline ultimate that allows one to fire multiple arrows in quick succession....

    would be interesting

There is a nb skill change for 1.6 that will do something similar.

    really?

Ill have to try it out on the PTS next week.

man 1.6 has a lot of promising things. hopefully the crown store wont ruin it all(which I doubt it will, but you know how people are)

Dear Players who have been ganked by Snipers, add a single 630 Armor Glyph to one of your Jewelry pcs and run with 1 or 2 shields on your bars and Snipe isn't a huge problem any more. That and invest in some dang Health. I may not have a ton of PvP under my belt but seeing VR10-14's in Cyro with 2200-2600 Health is lols. 3100+ is very easily achieved (without Emp buff) even running several pcs of Impen and it makes you live that much longer until you can LoS the Sniper.

I've got a ring with a Legendary Poison Resist enchantment and Efficient Purge. I still die from Lethal Arrow, but I've gone to the death screen and seen five of them in a row several times.

Part of it from my point of view is that I'm a Wood Elf and due to my passives am hard capped for Poison/Disease. My PvP gear is 6/1 Light/Heavy with 5 Impen (just added 2 pcs for the upcoming 1.6 change to Impen), 1-1550 Fire for Vampire, 1-630 Armor and then cost reduction on the last. I'm sitting over soft cap for Resists and just at soft cap for Armor without using any abilities. I hard cap Armor with Spike Bone Shield or hit a respectable ~2700 Resists/Armor with Unstoppable (I swap those two out with each other). I also have Ward Ally on my Range bar and Harness Magicka. My Health is 3144 Ranged bar and 3464 Melee/AOE bar with Tri-food and w/o Emp buff, and 2578 Magicka.

With the above I can take 3-4 back to back hits from Snipe without dying though it's close and I have to spam shields to survive. I'm not saying a single 630 Armor Glyph and 3100+ Health means Snipe is a non-issue but it certainly helps. And you'd be surprised how many VR14's have like 2200 Health, no survivability in their build or on their bars and complain they die so fast. Then again I tank PvE end game content so I'm used to having to survive when the SHTF ;)

I hit above 3000 health in Cyrodiil, and food bumps me higher. I'm a Dunmer sorc, but I've added two Heavy (chest and greaves) to help bump the armor up without impacting my light passives too greatly. I'm not a vampire, so fire's fine. In fact, I dish it out! I'm addicted to Seducer armor passives, and my secondary is the Night Mother adds to weapon and spell crit. So they don't help armor directly, but I've got a nice flow of magicka that keeps EPurge close at hand. But I run for every Circle of Protection I can find, believe you me! That's a great way to show me where to stand.

I think if I could handle the boss wasps that guard the Enchant survey map location on my own, I'd be completely satisfied with my build. I can usually handle when it's just three. But when the other three spawn, poor little Gonrain's parents are getting a sad note.

I too wear Seducer 5pc, then Healer's Habit 4pc and EG 2pc. It's hysterical when the Construct spawns then runs clear across the field to the Keep wall (at least 100 meters away) while this giant beam of happiness is connected to me lol.

I'm a NB so dealing with all 6 Wasp spawns is cake, even back when I was VR6 and first walked into Craglorn when it launched, but that's another story. The Fire damage "weakness" for Vampires who use a 1550 Fire Glyph is a joke in Cyro, I take less damage from Fire than I do Frost or Lightning. The only time it sucks being a Vampire is when someone trolls you with Silver Shards and spams it until they run out of Stamina. Back to topic, I'm not sure how else to help you personally as your stats/build seem just fine, maybe I just get lucky with LoS or have Healers off that I can't see 'snipe' Healing me.

The one thing I've learned quickly using a 1VX build is that I HAVE to stay mobile or I die. I can take on several at once as long as I don't get pinned and have the environment to LoS when I need a short break from the mayhem. 5+ on me simultaneously is my limit. I can survive it for a little bit but if help doesn't come I'm dead. Irony is, I can't kill sustain Sorcs... period. Sustain DK's aren't that bad, other sustain NB's can be annoying and sustain Templars are impossible.

My point was actually not to talk about sniping in ESO, i just wanted to show you this cool technique. And maybe some of the "i hide in the bushes and snipe everyone to death and if someone doesn't die and comes after me, i run like a little child" people will get inspired to really step foot on the battlefield and fight like a man, cause that's what the good players do and that's where the fun is.

Only using an ability that has a long range, does a huge amount of damage, stuns and gives a healing debuff is not something that can be considered as "skilled".

And you complaining on the forums because you can't cope with a simple mechanics makes you skilled?

"Fight like a man", in a video game? You are THE man for killing pixels in a video game in a proper manly way.

I'm not complaining. I just wanted to post the video and needed a ESO related topic that would fit. Other guys started a PVP discussion. Since there were so many comments talking about snipe and pvp, i chimed in and added to the discussion.

If you haven't noticed it yet, here's a clue:

We're all playing a video game and we're all aware of it, so pointing out that this is just a video game is a bit redundant.

If you have nothing constructive to add, please go comment on another thread, thank you.

The longbow with arrows of 25-30 inches, has been ALL POWERFULL throughout medieval history in combat!!!

Whether this should be the same in this game is for the devs supported by our discussions...

but just observe the historical facts about the "cool down" & availability :
It took a skilled crafter 2 hours to make one arrow
In the prime years of the 100 year war around 1400 between England and France there were no goose left to pluck feathers from in the whole of Great Britain

BTW one of the reasons that crossbows became more in use was purely economical: a crossbow arrow was very cheap in production and needed far less skillled bowmen to use.

"I still do not understand why I followed the advice of Captain Rana to bring the villagers of Bleakrock into safety. We should have fought for our village and not have backed down, with our tail between our legs. Now my home village is in shambles, the houses burning, the invaders feasting.I swear every day to Shor that after Molag Bal has been defeated, I will hunt down the invaders and restore peace in Bleakrock and drink my mead with my friends at the market place".PC-EU

Actually if they do a second round of morphs that would be cool :open_mouth:

If they ever do more morphs it will probably be Static skills. Like you could get either rapid poison injection or Rapid Venom arrow.

This would make characters seem like they are getting better with the item they are using c:
