Question/clarity regarding new mount system

I'm trying to figure out how this new riding skill is going to work but having trouble understanding what I have read on here.

1. Will all our characters have shared mounts? If I purchase a mount on my DK, does my NB have access to it from the collections panel?

2. Also, regarding the way the current mount skills will be adjusted; If I have an all speed horse on my DK, and all stam horse on my NB, will my riding skill have max in both? Should I be leveling all three types now before the change happens and if so, do I need to do that on all characters, or can I do it on just one?

I guess the main question is whether this new riding skill is tied to account or character. If it's character, I assume the best thing to do is level three horses on each character now, before the change comes to get max benefit.

    Hey there @Wicked_Wolf‌,

Here's a clarifying post about the subject that we believe answers these questions. If it leaves out anything you'd like to know, please feel free to ask!

The one question that hasn't been addressed yet is What is the maximum riding skill per each characteristic (stamina, speed, cargo)? Right now, it's 50 on an imperial horse, 60 if you purchase a special horse. If the max is 50 in TU, will the players with 60 on the special horses still get that advantage? If the max is 60 and mine is only 50, can I still upgrade to 60?

thank you for the response! One thing I am not clear on is whether or not the stats are shared or character by character. If I have a max stamina horse on one toon and max speed on another, when the change goes live, will all my characters now have max stamina and speed together?

Maybe you should read: now, all your horses will be as fast as your fastest horse, and they'll have the carrying capacity of your best carrying horse, and they'll have the stamina of your best stamina horse. Mounts are becoming visual-only, while your riding skill is what affects their stats.

The maximum has not yet been clarified, but the spirit of this question is answered in the linked post.
One is an Imperial horse you've fed 50 Apples to, and the other is a Light Horse (which is the fastest horse in the game), also fed 50 Apples. When the changeover happens, that character will have a full 60 in their riding skill’s Speed category – we’ll have evaluated that character’s mounts, and applied the highest stats they had in each category.
Of course! The procedure is very similar to the current system: Just go to a Stablemaster, and you can increase one of the three categories – speed, stamina, or carrying capacity – by one, once per day, for a small gold fee. The only difference is that now, rather than the Stablemaster feeding your mount, they’re training your character!

maybe you should read where used 60 as the cap example.
    here ill help

    1. “What happens to my mount’s base stats?”

The base stats of your mounts are accounted for when we do the changeover. For instance, take two horses: One is an Imperial horse you've fed 50 Apples to, and the other is a Light Horse (which is the fastest horse in the game), also fed 50 Apples. When the changeover happens, that character will have a full 60 in their riding skill’s Speed category – we’ll have evaluated that character’s mounts, and applied the highest stats they had in each category.

cool my horse is at 73%....

Ok so it's still on a character by character basis then? I have one character who has max inventory and all my others are max speed. None of my characters have more than one mount. So when the change goes live, I'll still have to level each stat on each character right? Unless I start leveling two more horses, on each character I have, before the change?
