Mail reloaded?

When I buy something from a guild or otherwise get stuff in my in-game mail I have noticed that it is sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow to deliver it. Sometimes even logging out and back in is not enough. I can quit the game entirely and restart it but what a hassle just to get my stuff!

Is there some way to prod the system to check my in-game mail and deliver it?

I tried looking for this topic in help and on the forums but all I found was floods of messages about how to change my real world email on my account and that sort of thing.

Generally, simply opening your mail inbox pushes the mail through. If that doesn't work, teleporting to a wayshrine in a different zone will usually take care of it.

I've only seen one piece of mail get backed up worse than that, and it was something that was returned. In that case, it's only time that will make the difference.

Opening the mailbox does not seem to help. I'll try the wayshrine thing though. Thanks.
