I will continue my subscription, at least for the time being. In my experience with other f2p mmos having a sub is usually better than paying for content packs separately.

I reserve the right to cancel that sub and give zos the finger though if the manage to ruin the cash shop.

Um, I would have appreciated an "undecided" option. I'm thinking I'll probably subscribe, but I haven't decided for sure yet - it depends on what exactly the crown store ends up looking like (ie. how far do the crowns I get with my subscription go).

i canceld my recurring sub, just came back a few weeks ago. before that last i had played was in october. I had been enjoying the game for about a month then a new patch came out and fps started dropping massively for no reason. all of a sudden my decent gaming rig was dropping down to 8-3 fps in town.........
anyways after a few days and no word from zos i realized much hadnt changed since launch other then some much needed minor improvements and fixes.

I still came back tho because i love the story telling the amazing enviroments that have been created. and imo the best raiding ive seen in an mmo. lol no im not trolling.
i love how craglorn is set up so many quests and stories and dungeons! more mmo's end game should aspire to be on par with this content!
sure it took a little longer then it should have but the way the raids are seperated into smaller sections seems like the evolution of the wow system. its really similar in the big picture.
when i last played wow people usually pugged normal raids in sections wing1 , wings 3-4 ect. now days people dont have time for 4 hrs encounter in 1 sitting everytime. so this avoids the lock out mess and still provides great endgame content. thats why i like it more then raiding in wow, but just barely. to be honest wow does alot of things wrong but their raiding has always been top notch!

I just wanted to put this into perspective for all the people out of patience with the game. its just too bad this had to happen just as the game was finally getting really polished overall.

considering they are going to be making even more money with this model and have already confirmed that content wont be on the same pace as 2014......wtf lol
i love this game but there is no justifying it anymore. i will port to console with my pc account and get what ever trophies come with it on my ps4, ill play for free here and there and see what happens with 1.6 and after.

I've canceled my account in reaction of the b2p announcement, but most likely I will play for free and will also avoid the cash shop. Thats because I hate any f2p-games and I do not want support them financially.

This B2P thing is not so bad for me. I tend to complete content very fast (despite being a completionist)... and then I have to wait for months till ZoS makes new stuff. With B2P I'll pay only when new stuff comes out. And the stuff I am interested to.

I'll probably sub. As disappointed as I am with the model change I still greatly enjoy the game and what they have provided thus far. Whatever the reason for the change may be, I've had fun and admire the coders. I just wish it didn't now come with the negativity that cash shops equate to/bring over time.

I'm going to continue to sub my account and see how things go with the new hybrid F2P/B2P model.

If things continue to be fun and I see a future, I'll have to do the math and see what works best for me: sub; buy the dlc; hybrid approach (buy the "core" DLCs and rent ((sub)) the other dlc to complete content I may only do once anyhow).

If the focus becomes micro-transactions / cash shop junk however, I'm going to just call it a day and look back and say, "it was fun while it lasted"!

I personally won't pay $15 a month to support Zenimax focusing on content designed primarily for short production time / quick profit (EA style baby). However, I will pay more if the content is actually worthwhile, creative, and adds genuinely to the game even if it comes at a premium. I'm not against making money, but the quality has to be there for my support.

I will subscribe to the game until the Console release where Ill be moving over to play it there. Hopefully I can get my Main switched over. Im unsure if I want to sub or not there. The AuA today gave me the impression there will be a subscription option for PS4 gamers. If thats the case Ill probably sub between DLCs. And unsub the months of the DLC so I can put my money towards purchasing that.

This way if and when I choose to no longer sub I wont be penalized for renting the DLC.

As long as the Cash Shop doesnt get out of control. Ill continue paying.

It seems to me ZOS is in the process of giving up with this game. They intend to put it into automatic and just milk the cash store. No point in continuing to sub IMO at least for folks like me who have been playing since beta and have experienced pretty much everything there currently is in the game.

I'll give them one "maybe" two DLC chances and see what is more cost effective. If the crowns from sub cover the cost and/or is the same as if I were simply buying the content....then I will continue to sub.

However, if the sub works out to be more expensive because of time between DLC's/cost effectiveness there is simply no reason to sub. Those 10% bonuses simply aren't valuable enough for me personally.

the benifits of the sub are nothing really with out the content, crowns are not worth it neather is the bonuses, the only thing that would be worth it is content up dates, but if we have to wait 6-7 months for update which will cost around 70 pounds, around a hundred dollars or 94 euros. i do not see a dlc costing any where near that, a dlc will probs cost 40 pounds etc which i wont pay for ether, but instead if there is hardly any updates i will resub a month before the new dlc hits costing me only 9 pounds.

It really depends for me whats in the cash shop. Is it like Eve where its cosmetic stuff? even Exp potions etc I don't mind. But as soon as you can buy equipment or items there that you cant get in game that make you more powerful than someone that got his stuff playing the game im out quicker than a cheetah.

If stuff in the cash shop is on par or better that crafted stuff also will be a exit stage left scenario.

I'm going to continue to support the game with a sub and see how it holds up with the new business model. If the cash shop introduces items with stats, and brings a player up to par with the folks who earned items via playing (p2w), then I will be voting with my wallet by canceling my sub, plain and simple.

I'm going to be giving the game a chance until then.

I think I'll sub to the game, because I know I love it, and I also want to support the devs and encourage them to develop more content.

But I need more informations concerning how things works. Maybe it will be more interesting for me to buy each DLC when I feel like I'm ready to play them instead of paying a sub all the time and have no uses of the bonuses proposed to the sub players.
