Sub Vs. DLC

If this is handled properly, I should be able to purchase every DLC with my sub purchases. I'm not a fan of costumes, will only buy a pet or two and plan on purchasing a new mount. Zenimax stated DLC can be purchased with crowns, but has not given any estimate as to how much a new DLC will cost.

As a long time Phantasy Star player I can see how this new model is appealing to all sorts of players. It allows short term and more casual players the opportunity to engage the game. Im actually looking forward to a more full world, especially with the JS incoming. The world will certainly feel more alive, and frankly ZoS isn't putting out content fast enough to justify a subscription.

It's my more than firm belief that a subscriber who pays monthly should earn enough credits to purchase all DLCs while still having a small amount of crowns leftover. I am putting on my positive thinking cap and hoping ZoS realizes that those who are subbing to this game are its life force.

Giving us the option to not pay by the month and purchase DLC will be a bad move for you; unless you can somehow make the sub fee able to assist in purchasing DLC most players will have little incentive to stay subscribed.

TL;DR I'm not looking to buy crown shop items, my sub fee should be more than enough to purchase all DLCs so that I can explore Tamriel the way I see fit.

Anyone have a viewpoint from a different angle?

sub = DLC for free same way DCUO pay for single DLC or sub for them all.

if you unsub you lose the DLC tho unless you pay for it after unsubing again same DCUO model

Agree, why would you pay the sub AND buy the DLC? That is sort of double paying for the playable content. You can either play all content with your sub, or you can purchase the content and play it for free. Why would you do both?
Personally, I have paid a sub on another game right after the transition, but quickly went to buying the new content. IF ZOS is not coming out with new content every 3 months or less, then more than likely it will be cheaper to buy the new content when it comes over the sub model. $15 x 3 = $45 and new content will be likely less than $60. So if it is longer than 3 months, it will make more sense to buy the content and have it forever than to rent it for x time but have to give it back for the same price.
Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.
