Hi :)

Im new to Eso, and im going to start my first character soon. Im pretty experienced with mmos, so its not the problem to play a harder or more complex class.

What Classes/specs are the most needed actualy for group pve? I dont wanne be one of the 100000 million nightblades which no one needs for group play.

Are tanks needed? Im looking for an dragonknight or templar!

Thanks alot guys.

Yes, be a Dragon Knight. We need more Dragon Knights. You should think about rolling as a Dunmer DK for the Ebonheart Pact.

Be warned, though. Dragon Knights are a very hard and complex class to play. It will be very tough going, but if you stick with it, you will be one of the very few, especially in the Ebonheart Pact.

Well, ZOS always state that tanks and healers are minority of population. But for end-game IMO it's easier to be a DD or healer. There is no need of few tanks at the moment. Don't know about future. But if you decide to be a tank, there are a few good guides "how to be a good tank".
    Make sweetrolls, not nerfs!

Heavy armor Sword &Board Sorc DPS. Every other type of DPS will love playing with you in Vet dungeons.

On a more serious note. The game is now going to very big crappy mechanics and all around changes. If I could have recommended a good build or setup 2 months ago I can certainly not do this now. Just play something you like and have some fun. Do not expect any form of stability for a few months.

yeah i mean 1-50 is the way to go pure DPS but at 50 i think ill respec to healer/tank, if there are not so many.
So Nightblade isnt the worth choice i think, because when i got it right in other threads dragonknights are a way to much.

Again this is not set in stone. DKs may be actually not that great in 1.6. And in truth NB was actually always a very powerful class. It just didn't work how some people wanted it to work.

True for trials as dps. You have 8-11 slots to pick from, very easy to find random groups to join. Harder to join a raid if you only heal or tank, because few spots. Especially true for easy stuff like AA/Hel-Ra. It's all about stacking dps.

But as far as VR dungeons or DSA goes, there's always way more dps than tanks or healers around (same as in any MMO really). I do gold pledges on 4 chars, so I notice things lol. When I'm playing dps I usually end up making the group myself and spamming LFM, because no one needs me. While my characters with tank or heal spec's, gets invited to pugs in a few minutes.

OP: Right now your best bet would be a DK with tank- and dps spec. But Nightblade is also a great choice, if you're flexible with roles and spec's. Worse you can possible do is playing a pure dps sorc. But I expect these things to change in 1.6.

It all depends on what you want to play, how you like to play.

Dragonknights can be played either as heavy armor sword&board tank with great DPS and emergency self heals, or as magica build firecasters for some serious DPS.

Templars make the best healers in the game with magica build, light armor and resto staff, while they can do good tanking with heavy armor.

And you can always keep the build balanced, and switch the gear (playing with half/half to level both armopr types like many do).

Nightblades... are great as magica build lifestealers, which can do pretty decent healing with the right morphs. Or as stamina build DPS archers In melee they are usually lacking unless they can backstab from stealth...

Sorcerors... are kinda meh right now, though still fun to play. But they can only do ranged glass cannon DPS decently, which makes them a bit of the last choice for those enjoying endgame...
(though if you like a challenge, try playing a medium armor sorceror melee fighter as alt someday :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: )
