PVE Build
Let me start be saying I need to be educated in veteran builds.Mainly in groups I tend to fail I believe it is because I don't understand how to make a good aoe/survivable character. On my own I do ok,but I crap out in groups I either die or don't do enough dps to be worth anything.
Attributes- Honestly I have no idea what is best for me.
VR9-DK(Honestly I don't know what I'm doing with this class tree XD),DPS(I want to do dps currently useing duel wield and bow will go destruction staff if thats what it thats),IMPERIAL Race,NO VAMPIRE OR WEREWOLF(maybe werewolf if it helps).
Please give me some advice,so I maybe become a better player.

I don't know enough about a DK yet to offer you solid advice on this. There are a lot of skilled DKs on these forums, though, so I'm sure someone will come along to help.

I just want to commend you on trying to be better player. Your healers appreciate your effort! :D

I'm not playing a dk myself but I know destro staff is the way to go. Here two links that should help:

    http://deltiasgaming.com/2014/11/30/shooting-star-eso-dragonknight-dps-build/
    http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/the-mage-fire-knight-teh-magnuss-dk-build-to-end-game-pve-1-4/

I know there is a dual wield dps dk build out there, but I can't find it at the moment. I only know it is something with blood craze (or rending slashes), rapid strikes and inferno.

^Thanks for the reply I was looking at the shooting star one earlier, but was hoping for maybe a dps build around medium armor or heavy armor. It seems for now light armor is the way of the land XD.

If you really want to play medium armor (heavy as dps is not viable, unfortunately) and can't find one for dk, just look at the builds of other classes. The sets and weapon skills will stay the same, you just have to subsitute the class skills, which shouldn't be too difficult.

    I'm thinking DW,Bow,and Medium Armor.
    First bar
    -Rapid Strikes
    - Steel Tornado
    - Burning Talons
    - Green Dragon Blood
    - Inferno (not sure which morph)
    standard as ultimate
    Second Bar
    -Venom Arrow
    - Bombard
    - Lethal Arrow
    - Molten Weapons
    - Camouflaged Hunter

And Flawless Dawnbreaker as ultimate (for the extra weapon damage)
Wondering about Attributes though and Werewolf(if its even worth looking in to).
    Any input is welcomed

I used a stamina build all the way up to V14 using dual wield and bow. I've tried a magicka build but couldn't make it work, I tried Deltia's build and Xmovingtarget's build and realized it was me not the build (I don't have the real world skills). So sorry, can't offer constructive or helpful advice.

Attributes should go mainly into health no matter what role you play. You should enchant your gear with stamina if that's what your build focuses around. The math has been done in other forum posts that this will get you more health and more resources than doing it the other way around. If you do enchant your gear with stamina and you are not softcapped stamina with a food buff, then figure out how many attribute points it would take to reach soft cap. 10 stamina per point (plus increase max stamina by % passives and such). Put the rest of the attribute points into health. Very few high end players do more than 20 points into anything except health. The reason is simple- It's not hard to reach the soft cap for magika or stam. After reaching the soft cap, you will get diminishing returns on your spent attribute points. Already, the attribute points give you 15 health and only 10 magika or stamina. So, If you're soft capped and getting 5 stamina per point instead of 15 health, the choice is simple.

Also, the gear sets you use are pretty essential. Consult other forum posts about what gear to wear for stamina based builds.

He's the healer Tamriel deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hurt his tank. Because he can heal them to full. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful rejuvinator. A Cloaked Healer.

It doesn't matter if you put all attribute points in health and enchant for stamina or the other way round, you will always get 1.5 points health for each one point stamina/magicka, except on amulet/rings, there you only get a 1:1 ratio (so try to get rings with magicka/stamina, thats more effective) and I think food also gives the same amount for all three (purple food) but this will change with 1.6.

I personally try to reach 2,700 health (setbonuses and attribute points) and put everything else in Magicka/Stamina. The main reason I see to put as much attribute points in Health is that it makes it easier to change from Magicka build to Stamina build.

Werewolf is worth it, but only because you get 15% Stamina reg without any drawbacks (extra poison damage works only in werewolf form). The only reason to transform I have found is if I run around solo and want to have fun (which is sad).

I think the problem is that, as you say, you don't know what you want to do. So you try to do a little of everything which makes you a jack of some trades, master of none.

It's fine to be a DPS and a tank...but not at the same time. When my DK DPS, it's all light armor and 9 out of my 10 skills are devoted to that role and 1 is kept for survival. Also, try not to split your skills between stamina (bow) and magicka (destro). Pick one or the other.

In a later post it sounds like you are settling in on stamina. I play a magicka build so I will leave the specific advice to them. I will say it does not really matter where you put you attribute points, what does matter is that when combined with your gear, you hit the softcap for stamina and have about 2700 health

    Check Deltia's 1.6 DK build... He's using 2 Hander + Bow.

The build appears to have great sustain and decent DPS.

Sorry, I don't have the link, but it's on Youtube @ deltiagaming channel.

I feel your pain OP, my V14 Nord DK along with my lousy skills will never do DSA, Sanctum Ophidia, etc. You have much better passives as an Imperial, I would check out Xmovingtarget's build on youtube, you might like that. Good luck!
