Which skill has the worst design?

First of all, @ZOS your skill design is generally pretty amazing. And there are a few skills like Molten Weapons, Dragon Leap, Repentance, Dragon Blood and others, that simply look and feel fantastic.

But every stroke of genius is accompanied by a bit of madness, and so there are also a couple of skills that missed out when the style coupons where handed out.

So without further ado, here is a small lighthearted vote.

Obsidian Shield, because it makes your Dragon Knight stomp on the floor like a spoiled brat and afterwards he looks like a trash messy who is orbited by a bunch of junk and a colony of flies.

Puncturing Strikes, because every time your opponent dies while you use it, the channeling makes you look like a mad idiot that can't stop raging after he has long killed his enemy.

Inferno Staff Heavy Attack, because these flying fireballs are not half as cool as a sustained beam of fire would be (see resto staff heavy attack).

Shadow Cloak, it breaks if an NPC blinks, doesn't even have to be an NPC within range.

Agony and Piercing Javelin work, not brilliantly but they work, might take some weird tactics but they can work for you, just not as well as others.
I've not tried Petrify, Rune Prison or Blur, so can't comment on them.

Can you please explain why? I need funny explanations to add those as poll options.

Beast Trap is hands down the most useless skill in the entire game.

I'm not really asking about the usefulness, I am only polling about the animation design.

From the title I expected this to be about skill mechanics design (would have to vote Rune Prison), not visuals (in this case Annoying Magelight).

Oh, then Daedric Mines, I really don't care for the animation on that.

Rune Prison - I've never seen anyone run it. I've never needed to run it. It doesn't work on any of the mobs you would use it on, anyway. Basically useless in every way.

Daedric Mines - Not worthy of a spot on your bar when considering alternatives for CC.

Sparks - Why does Dual Wield want/need this? Same as above.

Meteor - As an ultimate it has to contend with a lot to earn a place on your bar and it just doesn't size up.

    Bound Armor - Why even?

EDIT: Oh, we're talking purely visual? Neh. I'd say Rune Prison again but I've never actually seen it used before and I have a sorc with 50 in almost everything. Um.
Uppercut? Maybe? "Here comes the pain.... wait for it.... Oh, boy here it comes..... Don't you block now.... get ready...."

Bound Armor does indeed belong on the list. A power that ages your character and completely overlays whatever cool armor you might be wearing. Certainly seems like bad power design to me (from a graphical perspective).

I'd go with rapid strikes, due to the missing impact sound.
