The tripping wall... (Game changer)

Davon's Watch is my EP "go to" town... for the last year of playing I have fallen over this wall (jumped at the wrong time) so many times with so many characters going both directions I am asking that we add a hole in the wall or move the Wayshrine inside the city... It seems to me the Wayshrine was put in the wrong place and I will pay gold to have it rebuilt in the city. Or at least have a path to it ;)

I have yet to get why that wayshrine isn't in the city. There is plenty of room for it, and it just makes it annoying to try to get back to that city.

Agreed. In a P2P game I don't see justification for major inconveniences like placing teleport points far outside of cities. Mournhold got addressed. As long as there are cities like the notorious Rawl-kha there's no reason not to.

My idea is remove that fountain in the photo and put the Wayshrine here... With the amount of ash in the air that water would be mud anyway.

...and then they put the Undaunted enclave almost where the wayshrine used to be.

That's not such a big deal. It's about the same distance for the others.

I watched for 10min and saw 317 people jump over that wall... and some people "ported" out right next to it (which I never understand).

Sentinel in Alikir is another one with an inconvient WS.

I am leveling an EP Templar and after about an hour of dealing with Davons Watch WS, I ported to a guildmate in Shadowfen for Stormhaven. Now that is where I go for banking and commerce.

Fortunately, during the port I landed almost on top of a Dolmen and got a General at Level 9. Yay!! (there were others at the Dolmen, I just helped, some) Ironically it is one of the few Generals left my VR12 needs.

However, I agree that the WS's need to be closer to the city center.

aww man, I was telling myself I was crazy thinking someone was likely just standing there to see how many jump fails happened....now they are even more embarrassing

I agree this should be inside the city or at least where that fountain is, someone has poor city building skills.

Which reminds me: It's fun when a batch of new players comes in, a whole drinking game to be had around "where is the dye station in Davons Watch?"
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

LOL, ironically there is one on Bleakrock, only your attacked when your using it if you have finished the quests on that island. I think there is one in Bal Foyen too, but don't remember where that is.

They need to tinker with several of the cities IMO (shrine placements, vendors/banks and guild traders) to make more of the cities more competitive/appealing against cities like Rawl'ka.

Everybody hates poor Rawl'Kha. :'( Yes the shrine is a bit out of the way in Davon's Watch but I can honestly say its worse in Daggerfall. In Daggerfall it is in the city but about 1/4 mile from the bank and crafting stations. Daggerfall has to be the biggest city I've seen, I think its bigger than Mournhold and I hate using Daggerfall for crafting stations/bank so instead I go to....Rawl'Kha!

Although the Guild Kiosks are real close to the WS. But then move both to just outside the city walls near the bank/alchemy/enchanter/blacksmither/clothing. Only wood working would be a bit out of the way.

Similarly with the Tripping Wall, we have the Tripping Step on the second floor of Cyrodiil forts (e.g., Nickle Outpost). Go up the stairs to the second floor and turn left or right (depending on which staircase you go up) towards the wall's battlements. There is like a 4" high step you can't just run over (like others to be found there). You have to jump over it and if you try to jump over it while you are next to it all you do is jump straight up. You have to do a running jump to get over this great "obstacle". Sometimes I jump so far I fall off the wall LOL.
