Oh, players sit in a dungeon and kill the same bosses over and over again to xp. Oh the poor souls, they're missing out on our amazing quests, content, and other great dungeons we made! Let's nerf boss xp!
Wait what...? These players are now sitting in a dungeon to kill TRASH now to avoid our pve content?
At this stage you would think that it seems fairly obvious, some of us really, really don't care about the pve content. But nooo, we will enlighten them and have them come back to the virtuous path of questing and ***. Let's destroy the trash grinding spot!
How did these wretched players think they would get away with this? After all, we did invent the daily pledges to force all our dungeon content down their throats, did they not understand our intent?
Can we agree to disagree on the usefulness of your pve content? Yeah, i'm sure some people have put a lot of hard work into it. Great. There are pve heroes out there, they are the ones the content is aimed for. WHY do you wanna make us go too?
Some players are fairly hardcore pvp players. Dungeons and quests, for us it's garbage. Can we please grind our way through it without you f***ing it up? We feel the need to get the right VR (they will still be here for a while, considering how they won't change in 1.6, which is gonna late anyway), and to get gear, and to get the right passives.
Let's face it, the undaunted passives are nice. For pvp, we want them. Couldn't we just sit in every possible dungeon for 3 days, and get like 15 points for every god**mn one of them? No, we have to experience this s**t every f***ing day?
I mean, if pve people really love those dungeons, sure they can do it whenever, everyday, right? Why do we have to do it like this, too?
If we have several VR14 char to optimize, oh great, we're either doing 1 pledge on just one char every day for the next YEAR, or we have to do those f***ing pledges on EVERY CHARACTER daily. YAAAY, a dozen dungeons (1 vet / 1 non-vet) a day.
Having to go through 4h of pve dungeons every day for a month to optimize for pvp, please kill me by the end of it! Please adjust the direction you're taking, so that it's not only aiming at one category of players.
Oh, and while we're at it, sort your 1.6 before putting it out there. The ultimate gains? Are those a joke? Once again, maybe they'll please some pro pve weaving boss eaters who wanna balance everyone's ulti gain, but in pvp? You play good, you play bad, you use skills, you don't, you all get the same *** ulti, great!
You just do a light attack every 8 sec to get the magic buff for sh**ty gain!
How does that make any sense? Ulti should reward doing things that makes sense (damage, heals, synergies, kills). Of course, with the change to aoe cap, ulti gain needs tweaking, but it doesn't need to become brainless.
Talking about aoe cap changes, when you do changes to the pvp why always with a bulldozer? We needed aoe cap changes months ago. You could have put to 12. Or 24. Or whatever, tweak them around.
NOOO, LEET'S PUT THE CAP TO 60! AND ADD AN ANTI-ZERG ANTI-PURGE BOMB TOO! Stand anywhere near an ally and explode, mwahaha!
Could you not do one change, then observe how it evolves, and see if the need for further changes in the same direction is still there? Don't you feel like you're shoving a lot into that 1.6 already?
Do we need an anti-purge skill, since purge is already *** up as it is? One day you messed purge, making it do the exact opposite of what it's intended to do, an actual anti-self-zerg skill.
How do you plan on fixing that in 1.6? Nerf blockade instead of fixing purge?
Blockade is only one way to exploit the purge bug, any dot will do (including fire siege). So not only is it not a fix, it's also completely beside the point.
Bottom line is, it's time to give a break to the players who only care about pvp and only want to avoid most of the pve content you're trying to force down our throat. And if I were you, I would also really be careful with the amount of changes in the 1.6 to ensure that you're not about to completely mess up the pvp. Some changes are more than needed, but go easy on the pvp balance. You could end up loosing a lot of your pvp player base if you keep going in the wrong direction consistently.
