Taking Screenshots and the location of said screenshot being displayed...

Is there a way to turn Off display of the location of the screenshot when pressing PrtScn? I was using Steam to run the game and take screenshots but I got a new PC and wanted to try the ESO client without Steam, and of course the location of the screenshot is shown on the screen for a few seconds after taking the picture. Is there a way to disable this behavior? Because if you take a few shots in a row they next shot will have that location in the shot.

You can go in and set a button to turn off the UI and have a clean screenshot that doesn't have anything on it. Then the location won't show up either unless you are wanting the rest of the UI at which point I dunno.

Yes, there is an addon to suppress the messages. I think it is the same one that also suppressed the Trials Notifications, friends logging on etc. He either just added the option or is going to soon.

    EDIT: Its this add on

And, you may know this already, but to hide the UI for screenshots, you can bind a control to a key on the keyboard for that. Poke around in the Controls part of the Options while in game to do this.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I saw the hide UI option, but sometimes I want the UI, just not the picture's location displayed in most pictures. Maybe, they will add it natively to hide/show the file location. I will take a look at the add-on.

Now that there's an addon for it, they'll never add the option to the default UI. That's how ZOS works.

I can also just go back to running it under Steam. I just wanted to try running natively.
