I thought it would be nice to collect some knowledge and experience on which sets can be combined and work well together, so please share your favorite combinations with us and also tell us what they're good for.

My fav combination is

5 x Warlock + 5 x Magnus + 2 x Torugs

This is good for magicka management + the extra spell power

For more survivabilty you can use Whitestrakes instead of Magnus.

What's yours?

    I currently use 5 pc Seducer + 3 pc Willow's Path + 3 pc Soulshine. I'm a V11 nightblade healer.

Magicka is over soft cap, Magicka recovery is over soft cap, spell resistance is over soft cap, and I'm just over 2900 health. That's without PvP bonuses. 44% spell crit without PvP bonus, 52% with.

I very rarely run out of magicka, and my heals crit quite often. It's a nice setup.

I will be changing this when I hit V13 and equip my 5 pc healer set, and also when CS hits. I have testing to do, so I'm looking forward to seeing other responses in this thread :)

At the minute either Hist Bark x 5 + Allessia's Bulwark x 4 + three piece of jewellery (not high enough a level to go for jewellery sets yet)
    Or Hist Bark x 5 + Willow's Path x 4 + three pieces of jewellery.

Used to be Willow's Path + Allessia Bulwark, until I levelled up a Nightblade in Histbark. (the regen bonus on Willow's path is good)

There are better set combos out there, but seeing a boss miss you every so often, cheers you up.

    Inner light gives 20%
    Three piece Soulshine gives 4%
Three piece Willow's Path gives 4%
Precise on my weapons gives 6%
Prodigy passive from light armor skill line gives 10%

That's 44%, and with the 8% PvP bonus when I have it, it goes up to 52%.

I wish we could craft Necklaces at least simply because when I was playing with crafted sets, it turned out that Torug's Pact 5 piece proc bonuses counts for some set procs, so a 5 set of Torug's pact and 5 set of Ashen grip would actually add 30% more damage to ashen grip and allow it to trigger every 3.1 seconds instead of 4.

But alas, just a dream for now.

Yeah for me personally the magicka reduction is most definitely made up for by the crit. Since my heals heal for more a good percentage of the time, I have to cast them less, therefore needing less magicka.

But honestly magicka isn't an issue for me anyway, with siphoning attacks and all the potions stuff I have as an Argonian and a nightblade, plus the alchemy passive.

And with softcaps going bye bye... :)

Right now Inner Light has a place on both my bars, so I don't have to recast.

Inner light isn't really an option for magicka based dps (and kind of required for no temp heals also )we might as well have 4 slots. It is kind of funny considering that I had 69 weapon crit on a lvl40 stamina NB with no funny annoying lights and no gear that I had to farm from Trials.

Yeah, I'm a healer. I made sure to say that in my initial post, since I feel it's relevant to the sets I use. I have no idea what's viable for DPS, as I don't have a DPS spec at the moment, but I know there are sets that are considered better for crit. Inner Light is only spell crit, anyway, so it wouldn't have added to your weapon crit anyway.

5 pieces of Vampire's Kiss (light armor), 3 pieces of Seducer (1 heavy, 1 medium, 1 weapon).
Then I start with 3 Warlock jewelry pieces at about level 18, after this the jewelry varies, depends on the level/rank. I always re-enchant all jewelry pieces with Kuta.

This setup I use on ALL 4 classes btw, works out fine ;)
2 characters have the Night's Silence set equiped, but I'm going to change that soon.

This is what i use for my NB stamina build.

sometimes i switch to magicka and use 5 pieces seducer and 3 pieces Magnus and 3piecers shadowwalker (just because i have them)

But mostly i use the stamina set. Also sometimes i switch nightmothers gaze to Ashen grip for extra health bonus.
