    No. Hell no.

Why would you even want this? Honestly. Horrible for balance to have a brand new character with every single skill. What would you even be working toward on your alts? Where the hell is the fun in that?

I don't get the point of a system like this. Enlighten me.

No - and you would still have to level skill lines before you could use them anyway so the next poll would be 'Plz can have all skill, lines set to 50 at level 1 across account'

No, and I haven't changed my mind since your other identical poll.

I'd also much prefer it if passives and dyes etc weren't account wide either. I like my characters to pursue different things in different ways, and earn what they get.

I like the idea to be used for crafting. Literally last night when hubby asked me to make him some armor of all 3 types, I'm "okay, gimme a min, gotta log 3 toons" because I spread it out so I didn't have to decide between craft or fight skills....so I'm kind of a mess.

But it doesn't seem right to be able to create a new toon and unlock every dang fight skill right off the bat, not to mention you'd basically sleep through everything because it would be too easy until you reached the point in game where those skills are norm unlocked.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

The champion points are bad enough, but Skill points, so a new player can invest skill points at an absurd rate, then run out?

Um, no thanks, lets keep so we spend them as we earn them, and know how we are going to manage them.

It should be the same as with doing all the main story line again and again, some people played all possible quests in the game for 4-5 months not hurrying anywhere and when they start a new character they want to choose to repeat all them or not to.
    Simple as that.

Then there are those who want to spread their skill points among all 8 characters and laugh maniacally as they watch brand new players realize the massive disadvantage they're at, think "*** it, I'm not paying for this" and leave.

Some men just want to watch games burn.

This entire analogy is ridiculous, quite frankly.

I go far out of my way to help animals in need and never kill an insect that isn't a threat to me or my family. I'm a kind-hearted, admittedly TOO soft, person.

That has nothing to do with this poll or this topic. Whatsoever.

I'm not dominating anyone. I don't even have a vet alt, and my main isn't V14. I accept, however, that once I decide to level an alt to vet that I'll have to put the work back in again. That's just how it works. It's not "crazy," and it's not "unnecessary." You're dangerously close to saying that once you get a max level character, you should just be able to make max level alts, too, because... well, you did it once, why should you have to do it again?

Read again. You have to earn XP this way or another to get the possibilty to unlock certain morph or passives. And this is not even the main concerne for this game at all guys.

    I wish.

You are clearly ignoring the third type of person who actually inflict pain, injury and death on animals. While I wish they didn't exist, they do.

And this applies to other situations, there are those who watch out of amusement, those who try to help, and those who try to make it worse. I personally think the OPs idea falls under the third category, but I also think it's unwittingly so (by which I mean it isn't intended to be so, nothing else).

Don't play the alt if you find it tedious to achieve something. You achieved that on your main. On a different class all together. Why would it be a safe, or smart, assumption to just auto apply everything we've done on one character to the others?

Just because I can tank on a Sorc doesn't mean I can tank on a NB or DK (though it's easier, no doubt). The story lines and skill points are meant to give you a path to LEARN a little about your character; to become more personal with the character. You just want to build robots and have some weird system meant for f2p games in a p2p game.

To me, this is the ultimate casual right here. Account share everything. If I make 100 potions on one character then all characters should get those potions, as long as they use them separately. Right?

Why was this poll even created? To give the ultimate hard core people to flame on? Or the ultimate casuals a place where they can call anyone who doesn't agree with them pedants and elitists? Just stupid all around.

As much as I have had those moments when I said 'I really wish I could share my skill points because I could sure use them now', I have to say NO.
There are three points in the game that I have noticed.
    1. The point where it is a struggle to get any skill points
    2. The point where they start flowing in
    3. And the point when you have so many you cant use them all

I'm not sure #3 exists. I just want to do everything.
    Beerbill wrote: »

But you already did all the work so your logic is flawed... he is just asking to this game don't be the super duper grind fest that it is now.

No. Any alt you start after toon 1 is already benefiting. Your first toon can deposit gold to immediately upgrade bags, buy a horse, can make your alt gear/weapons and likely has materials at the ready for it, food, pots, etc.......all of which was unavailable to you your first toon and had to be learned/gathered etc.

So, see you already have an advantage your second, third, ....eighth time around.

What you don't have is the work you did for your DK counting for your NB as well. They are a different character, a different person all together on the face of Nirn and must gain their own experiences through life. However you choose to do that.

I blame ZOS for this too. Give an inch (CP) they want a mile (SP)

Exactly! My alts have nice set armor, the best food available for their level and tri-pots out the door. Their big sisters care for their little siblings.

The most fun part of having an alt is looking for all those skyshards again!

Oh, it exists! I'm sitting at a 25 skill point excess at the moment and have plenty of skyshards and such left.

They will quickly dwindle once I actually invest more in crafting, though.

I did quit that alt. Many many people have quit their alts. The biggest issue being vr exp. I find it way to slow on my alt as do most. I don't see that your argument has all that much merit since zos is redesigning the entire system.

Your thinking that the story is to make you learn your character is really weird. You need to ponder that Jackie Chan WTF meme.
