List of quests that give skill points in each zone and their starting location

Does such a thing exist? The only quests I like to absolutely make sure I do is the ones that award a skill point. There's usually 3 per zone and I would really like to have a resource that showed the starting location and quest name so I could make sure each one gets done every zone. How does something like this not already exist?

I have used Dulfy's list in the past but its a chore to figure out where each quest starts.

Any thoughts?
I'm kind of a small deal!

See ESO Quests with Skill Points at UESP. I don't think they're all there, but most of them are (it's likely only the Normal and Veteran Group Dungeon quests that are missing). You can go into each quest's page to find out where it is and its prereqs.

Edit: In fact, what may be more to your needs as a list format is at ESOhead: http://www.esohead.com/quests#reward:1
They're only missing the City of Ash vet quest, as far as I am aware.

Completing the quests sequences that are in Cadwell's Almanac for each Alliance will give you the zone quest related skill points .I am unaware of any non Cadwell's quest sequences that give points. These are also the quest with the best exp gains by far. It is actually very easy to follow the skill point since whenever you complete one of these sequence a new quest giver will appear close by which will send you to the next major quest node.

Just go through dulfys and look for skill point awards and backtrack to find the starting quest then write it down. That's what I did and it worked awesome except for ep.

Ya its the internet. I would have assumed someone somewhere would have already done this and posted it for the world to enjoy. I guess not.

A direct issue with doing this is that most quests that reward skill points are the end of a chain, meaning even if the location and name of the quest were listed, you'd still need to find the first quest in that chain. Combining the ESOhead list that I linked, which has the quests that you can sort by level or zone, and one or other of the UESP pages which has the quest chain order, is probably the best way to go.

The only one that doesn't fit this rule is in Malabal Tor. For some unknown reason, the Skill Point that should be connected to The Prisoner of Jathsogur is instead rewarded from Buyer Beware, a completely unrelated side-quest in Belarata.
( @ZOS_TristanK‌ could you please check whether this is a bug? All other skill points are related to story quests, not random side quests. Thanks! :) )

I wanted to find a list form for the quests that reward skill points, so that I could follow it quickly with my crafting characters by the shortest route.

I found some good resources (Dulfy's ESOhead etc) but none that were printable in an easy to follow path.

I've used the information from UESPWiki but re-written it into a word document, in order, for each faction and also for Prophet and Coldharbour quests.

I haven't had chance to test it out yet and check each step but it looks like it should be easy to follow (not get lost wondering where to start the next part of the quest chain).

I imagine you would find yourself under-levelled if you solely follow these quest chains, so some side-questing might be required to stay competitive, but I thought this might make the task of gaining skill points on my crafting characters that bit simpler.

I welcome any amendments and shortcuts if you find some of the quests are not required to move forwards.

To be fair, this thread is old and this resource did not exist at the creation of this thread :)

Like I said, I wanted a printable quest chain that I could have in front of me so that I could follow it through in the most efficient way, without having to click through webpages.

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Quests_(Online) -> This is a nice resource but still a bit messy for my needs.

I'm not saying I've provided anything new, just in a simpler way.

This seems to be a real active community, I'm very pleased to be part of it :)

HDHooligan, those word documents could be a life saver for me. I power leveled my Blacksmith/Provisioner (who is my designated healer too) and I regretted it ever since. So going back to find the skill points from quests is vital for me now!! You ROCK!!! I'll definitely see if I can find amendments to make... maybe even hyperlink some of the list so its easier to find online the location starting points of quests etc.. :)

This is awesome! Works extremely well with the Destinations add-on. Thank you!
