Picked up the game a few days ago.. Some crafting and random related things!

1. I quickly decided that it is time to get some addons. Wich site is the curse/nexus of ESO?

2. Doing a lot of leveling proffesions i really don't know when to move on to the next materials. Got 9 in smithing i think but i still got most my iron laying around.. Guess i should sell it and move on?

3. When crafting is it worth to make "better" stuff or use the least resources possible? Also does the "perk" you can add give more exp? Got way to much of that crap in my bank :P

4. Noticed there are daily crafting quests and i got some problem with the cooking one. Seems like i need a cider recepie and from the looks of it there is little to no chance in hell to get it due to it's rareness.. Not sure if i can abandon the quest and get another one but i guess i will try that if nothing pops up!

5. Tried to port into my fist dungeon today and it failed.. As i didn't watch the screen i thought i try it again just to get a "You need xxx rank to get here" while seeing my 400gold going down the drain. The rank from what i heard is something you get at max level or so...? I had nothing like this during beta

1. esoui.com You can also use Curse or Minion
2. Use it until you don't need it or get into the next zone. Just because your at level 9 doesn't mean you wont get XP for breaking it down or crafting.
3. the more resources you use the higher the level. There ar eseveral perks so gotta be more specific
4. You can check guild kiosks to find recipes also.
5. Not sure what you mean exactly. But instanced dungeons start at certain levels.

5. 400 g ? Rank? If you mean the dungeon level reqs you can see them thru the group finder (P)

2. Just keep the materials in your level range and sell the rest. Remember to deconstruct items that you have already researched - this is the fastest and cheapest way to level up your professions.

3. I usually never repair armor when leveling and create a new set after it is broken - also I would not improve armor more than green/blue. Keep purple and yellow mats for level cap.

You can abandon any crafting writ and pick them up again. There is no guarantee however it won't be the same one.

Guess i should sell it and move on? One thing to keep in mind here is access to next tier of material-you won't see it until you reach a higher zone. You do have the option to buy it if you have the gold.

Got way to much of that crap in my bank :P You won't get more exp from perks, but they do have advantages, such as better loot from refining ores. Technically, you get more Inspiration from using least resources, but every item requires a style stone and at 15g each they are a gold sink until you learn more styles and find more stones. In practice, then make highest level item possible. IP difference is not that big.

Cheers all. The thing i mentioned last was me joining a group and when i tried to port to the dungeon i got the veteran rank thingy saying nono. Lost the gold for both ports but could not get there. I could also not port to the leader for some reason so i had to jog halfway trough the map.

And by perks i meant like using one of the stones/what ever that adds extra armor/faster attack etc. The things you learn from research.

Or to any other group member who is already in the dungeon. Or hoof it to a wayshrine.

Or you can port to anyone in your guild or group to get to a wayshrine quickly then use the wayshrine to get to the dungeon. Lots of ways to port for free

You can port to guild members that share your alliance for free as well. Used to be a great add-on for porting, but sadly, it no longer works.

Youre 'perks' are called traits. Again, search the web or forum for detailed info, but yes they are useful. As a beginner, Training trait and Exploration trait might be most usefull. Training will speed armor and weapons skills, while Exploration will give a bit more experience for, well,...exploring.
