Ok, first of all, please calm down. I am trying really hard to keep things civil here.
I understand why you are upset. I've leveled a single character in ESO and I've done all the quests, all the Dolmens, All the Dungeons, All group Achievements, All world Bosses.
As for the 30 CPs they are giving, if you read my entire post you should understand why they are offering that flat value for everyone. A can't have both the progression of the champion system and of the veteran system at the same time because that would create too strong of a disparity between the ranks!
For now the Vr14s will have to live with that and hope ZoS will compensate us when the Veteran System is truly removed. My little plan above was about reducing issues for the removal of the champion system while still giving enough points to players now for ZoS to run their tests.
As for the guilds that talk to ZoS, they can only do so much, specially during holiday time. Keep in mind the reason we haven't heard back from ZoS (except for Gina's latest and somewhat rushed post) is because they are mostly vacationing with their families, like most of us. They are human and deserve that rest. FOr now we wait, give them suggestions on how the release of 1.6 could be made better for everyone and hope they will listen.
Please take your own advice regarding reading the post, specifically where I said "NO ONE has asked, reasonably speaking, for players to be unbalanced. I really do not care what we get for CP on 1.6, but screwing players out of their earned play time and not providing the conversion in 1.7 is unacceptable. Most of the people i know do not want to do quests EVER again..." I understand my post was long, but I was not asking for extra, only fair conversion for those of us who have actually done the questing.
I did read your post @GunemCleric, what I said is that we don't know for sure what ZoS will do on 1.7. We barely know for sure if they will follow up with their plans for 1.6, once they read our posts here in the forum.
For now, we have to wait. I bet Gina or one of the Devs will come around soon to release a statement. If you want, leave suggestions on how you think the system should be implemented considering the complications of having to maintain both the Champion and Veteran Systems active together at least till patch 1.7.

I am not going to argue the point further regarding 1.7, ZOS has unequivocally said that 30 was all we were getting, otherwise there would not be such an outcry. go read the official developer thread forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/143784/champion-system-clarification#latest that you spawned this thread from. Pay special attention to he quotes and you will see what is being said. As you created this thread without truly understanding the issue you should probably update your thread with correct and valid premise. There is entirely too much misinformation on this topic.
Everyone wants ZOS to actually respond on the forums that those of us who *have* done the work will get an appropriate conversion to the new system. I am not talking about people who did grinding past v14 (i cannot fathom such an thing) if anyone actually did that. I am speaking on of those of us who have done the unrepeatable quests and have multiple v14s with quests.
As it stands the *clear* message has been 30 CP now and forever, and that all v14 who have completed quests will permanently be behind in possible CP points and have to work MUCH harder to keep even. Based on what has been said it would be best to delete all of our v2+ chars and level all other chars to v1 and then park them for the next month and do something else so that we can forget the trauma of doing the crap quests and actually have the chance to achieve all CP one day, but be able to keep up too.
And those players who got to v14 via grinding or PvP are are probably going to be screwed anyway as there is still appears to be a lvl 50 cap on XP, but in addition quests below 6 levels (and probably dolmens, delves, public dungeons, world bosses, exploration, ...) appear to provide reduced XP, so between 1.6 and 1.7 all v1-v8 characters would have much greater return on quests than a v14 running in the v1 zone (even if lvl 50 xp cap removed)

What a grizzly, grizzly bear you are.
Sorry, jokes aside, the 30 CPs if given out will be given on update 1.6, when the Veteran System will still be in place and your Experience will still be rewarded by the methods of the Veteran System (A few attribute points and the increases of stats per level - Same as it was on 1.5)
On 1.6 we will not get retroactive champion points because we still have access to the progression of the veteran system. I have no doubt about that; on 1.7 though, there is a chance ZoS will come around and gives the champion points to compensate for the loss of the veteran ranks.

You still do not get it. yes, duh, of course we still have vet levels at first, how many times do i have to acknowledge that, seriously. How many times to have to say it is not about the now, but the fact that they have said that is it, no more points, 30 is all we will ever get according to their very concise statement.
let me try yet another angle i personally do not care at all about the 30 CP, it is the fact that we will not get CP when they remove vet ranks. You only have to ***read*** the statement. Do You Understand?
If you still cannot grasp that point, then I wonder if do not already work for ZOS. I never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence, but if you are not incompetent then you are purposefully pushing this misinformation about 1.7 that does not exist and has been discussed many times and has been dis-proven.
I will let this go and perhaps attempt to have some faith in ZOS again if and only if ZOS comes back with a "clarification" that suddenly indicates we will have an appropriate conversion. As it stands the ZOS talking heads are waiting for a good reason to delete these threads or severely moderate them.
They have released a statement on what is going to happen when update 1.6 comes to live. They haven't released a single statement about update 1.7... None whatsoever, specially since customer support doesn't know what will happen.
Oh, and before you ask how I know that... It is because I asked through emails! The customer support of ZoS doesn't know exactly what will happen on update 1.7. They don't even know for sure that will the patch for the retiring of the veteran system, since patch 1.6 is the test ground for both the Champion and Justice Systems! ^^

Support being clueless has nothing to do with ZOS plans, but whatever. The talking heads have commented on many other things are reading the threads (only moderate, not to actually be helpful), but for some reason they have not been able to post a simple "hey, we have not decided how to handle 1.7 conversion...reassured we do not totally hate our players" took me 10 seconds to type that. They are asking people to vote for ESO in the MMO vs MMO thing, but they will not even attempt to pacify players with a quick note about "things are not certain" on contrary they have been quite clear that they have no intent to convert properly. Not going to bother any further the statements and discussion are there, believe what you want
