I wish that in 2015 Elder Scrolls Online introduces dwarves. I feel like we have 8 out of 10 races that all look like humans. I wish that we had some more unique looking races. I'd settle for Dwarves, Trolls, Undead, Tauren....omg....flashbacks

As for your new years "wish"... this isn't WOW, the variation in races are more homogenous. As for the Dwarves (Dwemer), they are gone... and even if they weren't, they weren't tiny. They were "man-sized".

POSSIBLE future races that aren't Men or Mer (human or elf):

Sload: a slug-like race. Could be introduced with the continent of Thras (East of Tamriel). They are said to operate air-ships, which would be a cool addition to ESO.
    Sload_big.jpg

Tsaesci: Also on a continent to the east of Tamriel, Akavir. They are likely a very diverse species, like the Khajiit, with many different forms of their race making up their racial diversity. From almost entirely snake like creatures to vampirc man-type creatures.
    YuanTi.jpeg

Tang Mo: Monkey-men (think Planet of the Apes) from Akavir. This race could ALSO be diverse with different types of "apes" making up their race, but this is pure conjecture on my part.
    cf2d26_monkey_king_by_pc_0d4upyde.jpg

Ka Po'Tun: Another tiger-like race but are from Akavir. It is said that they have some sort of tie with dragons and their leader may have been able to BECOME a dragon at some point. I have always kind of thought the Ka Po'Tun as being sort of Dragon-Cats. It is theorized but unknown if they are related to the Khajiit.
    ka-po-tun-65759919

While these are the only other "known" beast races (there are quite a few Men and Mer races too) this doesn't mean there CAN'T be more beast races on other continents on Nirn... we just haven't heard about them yet!

Personally, I hope they flesh out some of the races that we currently have. The Khajiit race is a wonderfully diverse race that just isn't represented properly in ESO. It would be a HUGE, but worthwhile, undertaking to add the complexity and diversity of the Khajiit.

If you'd like to know what I'm talking about, check out my thread where I outline how the Khajiit could be expanded in ESO.

Ok I have another one, which goes with the post above by Gidorick..

I always thought, of course it's not in the Lore but, that eventually they could make a 4th alliance...Yes I said it..

    Here we go...

Where the Akaviri would invade Tamriel and would try to take over Cyrodiil for themselves. :astonished: They would have there own three major races, the Tsaesci, Tang Mo, and the Ka Po'Tun. I think that it would be a awesome Expansion.

Also you would start on the Akiviri Islands and have a whole independent storyline which ends with the defeat of Molag Bal and the Akiviri Invasion of Tamriel..

They already have snake like Lamia's and Khajiit for the body types, they would just need to make the monkey men...

You do realize that last one is a Charr warrior from GW2 right?

I'm not sure if you'd count Goblins as a breast race, but they're sentient (albeit lacking in the intelligence dept )

Lamias show they're a competent race in Coldharbour I don't know if they're officially considered Tsaesci or a separate race entirely.

There's technically the Lilmothiit. One the one hand they were thought to be extinct, but on the other:

The Lilmothiit used to call Black Marsh their homeland. It is not said why they left, some believe they were driven out by the Argonians or that they were wiped out by the Knahaten Flu in 2E 560 which killed everything not of reptilian stock. The Akaviri may have had interactions with the Lilmothiit, shown by the Akaviri using Lilmothiit ruins as grounds for prisons.

Many things that should have died survived the flu. Also it's close in the timeline to eso.
The father I think it was, of the two sisters who you pick one to become the new Mane (Khajiit leader) in Reapers March, was killed by the flu yet they didn't catch it. This isn't the only example.
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

Nope! Had no idea. I googled "Ka Po'Tun" for images and found one that matched closest to what I envisioned the Po'Tun to look like. The Charr warrior in GW2 seems more "hunched" than I would envision for the Po'Tun but the overall concept of a "dragon-tiger" is pretty much the same!

Thanks for pointing that out.

Actually, ESO takes place 2E 583. There was an Akivari invasion ten years earlier, 2E 572, which contributed greatly to the formation of the Ebonheart pact. I don't see why there couldn't be additional lore written that allows for another invasion. It might be that the invasion was forgotten because of the turmoil of the faction war.

While I don't see the Teng Mo and Ka Po'Tun ever allying with the Tsaesci... it could be a sort of enslavement or manipulation situation where the Teng Mo and the Po'Tun are essentially "tricked" into helping the Tsaesci. The Teng Mo and Po'Tun do eventually ally with one another... why not over their mutual hatred for the Tsaesci using them in the invasion of Tamriel? (this could be post-ESO lore)

I really like your idea, I think you should expand it a bit and make a post of it's own. Hopefully it'll sew some seeds of inspiration! It will never make it into 2015, but as a "some-day" concept I think it sounds awesome!

Dwarves were the Dwemer, they are long gone, disappeared during the First Era. So Not Going To Happen.

Trolls are already in the Game, They are nonsentient, so will never be Player Characters.

Undead are Already in the Game, they are just player races who happen to be Undead, but Player Undead (apart from Vampires) will Never happen.

Tauren are NOT ELDER SCROLLS, so will never happen.

I wouldn't fancy playing a Sload, they are supposed to be fairly slow.

Tsaesci could be fun. Tang Mo could be fun too, but I think they are more Monkey than Ape, but that still leaves plenty of variation to play with.

Ka Po'Tun would effectively be Khajiit, they will have a leader that becomes a Dragon, but they themselves have always been described as cat people (possibly different colouration and hair, but still like Khajiit)
