Yeah it WOULD be nice to have that. MOST of the reds are faded, washed out and just kind of ugly. But I'm FAR more annoyed about the Legate's Black than I am about the Ruby Throne Red.

Yes, it's fine exactly as it is.

Seems OK to me, I assume as new areas and achieves open up new shades will keep being added for extra variety but so far I have not seen anything to garish which is a pleasant suprise.

While I'm hoping we DON'T see things like neon shades there really DO need to be more vibrant colors to choose from than there are. But I've seen nothing to indicate that they plan to add ANY colors to the current palette.

It would make more sense if all the dyes were obtainable by one of two methods, in a similar manner to how Nirncrux Red lists both Armour and Weapon traits are requirements to unlock, but only ends up needing just one.

That was not the method they decided on though, and as such there are dyes in the system that I quite wish to have but which will never be available to me because I do not, and will not, run Trials.

For the most part I like it. Still have some changes that need to be made, though:

1. Allow dying of weapons, shields, and quivers.
2. Add a fourth dye slot. Some items have unique gems or components which cannot be dyed currently because they're independent of any dye slots (like the crystals on redguard armor)
3. Add a section to the interface that allows us to set the material type for each dye slot: matte, gloss, iridescent/metallic, etc.

I'm okay with the colors and how you get them with the exception of they should be achievable by both pve/pvp not one or other.

That said some colors simply don't dye right on some gears, and some gear still doesn't dye at all...you pick red and get a brown/red mix...

They pretty much do already. Most colors really aren't that much different from each other.

There are not enough good color choices.

There isn't enough variety. There are several shades of each color but the difference is hardly noticeable most of the time. I would like to see a more dramatic variation amongst the color shades. I would also like to see an adjustment to the way light reacts on materials to be more consistent amongst the different styles. Some styles have more sheen or gloss to the leather and metal and sometimes cloth pieces of the armor. This might be a more difficult thing for them to change though.

It's "fine" the way it is, but it could be better with addition of shield and weapon dying and slider options for shine/gloss/opacity on each piece. Most people wouldn't even notice slight differences between some of the colors if we could modify that.

There are several armor pieces with BROWN leather-like portions on the waist and gloves that those portions will not dye AT ALL! Drives me bat$h1t crazy! LOL Seriously ZOS how did you NOT notice this???

I like the system, though I love all these points.

Didn't have the option I would've chosen which is "The colors don't really translate to the armor properly and some armor isn't able to be dyed at all" The color variety is fine and access to them is also fine (some should be harder to get than others). Not being able to dye Weapons/Shields makes no sense. Certain armors like the Monster Helms/Shoulders and Barbaric don't dye well at all. Barbaric just ends up looking dirtier, regardless of which color you try and apply. I'm overall happy with the dye system, it just needs improvements.

I'm satisfied with the current colors and the ways to obtain them and I love how you have access to these colors on your entire account. Even a person who isn't very achievement oriented has easy access to nice colors.

The only modification I would like to see is the ability to dye shields.

This is a nice idea.

But I like the dyes system as it is now and I like that some colors are hard (or impossible, example: emperor lol) to get.
