Bow vs Dual wield

So I got my Templar DPS to level 36 last night. I noticed somethings when I use my bow my critical chance is 5% higher then if I use my two swords. The base damage is also 7 points higher. Everything is level 36 with the spell and weapon Critical trait on them. To me this isn't to balanced I can hit faster and with the morphs get a stamina return back if I use the sword but do less damage over all while having the disadvantage of being hit. Anyone else notice this?

Two daggers give more crit. Also you have more set items and enchanting options with two weapons instead of only 1. It is easier to gain ultimate with dual wield, but I dont know how it is when update 6 arrives :)

When I am dual wielding, I have the medium armor dodge skill active. I dont know if this it the best thing to do, but like you say, you should have some survivability as a melee. I also use the dragonknight skill (talon something?), the one that locks enemies, since you do more damage with dual wield to stunned enemies. I am not familiar with templar, but if you have a stun kind of ability, you should try that out. Also, the fighters guild skills could be good combine with the stamina skills. More tips then you asked for, but couldnt stop writing :)

Finally a reason not to play League of Legends

Bow passives provide 6% additional critical chance when wielding a bow.

Dual wield passives provide up to 10% additional critical chance when wielding two daggers, 6% additional damage when wielding two swords, 20% armor penetration with two maces, or a bleed effect with axes.

Similarly, using 2handed weapons a sword provides more damage, axe causes bleed, maces give armor penetration (hopefully someday they'll add polearms with crit).

    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer
Leonin - Khajiit Warden - Tank

Yes that is the last passive right? I don't think I have that one at the moment but probably in the next couple of levels.
The point I was getting at was that the weapon that gives you the advantage of not being hit is generally more powerful and has a higher critical chance at similar levels. I just think it should be the other way around as you take more risk in melee then at range.

Just a small correction, Twin Blade and Blunt R2 gives 5% extra damage when wielding 2 swords, and Accuracy R2 gives 5% critical chance when wielding a bow.
