What about this Portal idea instead of FC's

Player have to construct a summoning circle , sort of like the stone circle Dolmans . They use kits just like repairing walls to build it . Then they need one of each class to open a portal for players to Rez or Teleport there . Those four have to remain to keep the portal up an running . They get some AP for this so their not loosing out too much . The portals good for 25-30 transports .





I'm half cocked on Gin N juice so if it's a bad idea feel free to bust it up or whatever . ESO never reads these ideas anyways so we're probably getting camps regardless .

    That's an interesting idea. Not quiet sure how they would make it work. I think ZOS would have to make it fairly expensive so there are a limited number of them at any given time. Requiring four players to create and maintain it would help with that. Interesting idea...

    hmm ..... would fit the whole magical land that is Nirns theme.... and if defender want to end the endless waves they would have to send a scout team out to slay the portal masters....

    Only if we can have a 'form rank' ability in offensive skills.
    Creates a synergy that forms players into a line and grants a 10% damage/shield bonus.
    [ie benficial to use but not in an overpowered way]
    Synergies include shieldwall, plasmashield (armour) through to focusedelements and bowline (damage).
    Would love to see formations pop up on the battle field (magicka and stamina based).
    If they are ultimate based they cant be spammed in 1.6

    Anyway, if people can jump to wayshrine from any place at anytime..should the reverse not be possible ? Never really understood the consistancy of the teleport systems. lol.

    You could make your system have a time penalty of one player per x seconds or perhaps have it based on ultimate ? I think the main problem is where you could teleport to. There is some areas that must be off limits.

    Thats exactly the point though... who wants to stand there as a team doing nothing else than summoning. You cant fight, you cant defend, you are prime target too while you are summoning. You dont really want to do it....but you will take one for the team kind of thing.

    I think it has a lot of promise with more meat on it.

    I'm just saying, if you're going to add something to the game, it might as well be something fun.

    I'd be more interested in the portals being used similar to wayshrines, usable until the channeling npcs are killed. Make the travel spell cost AP and decrease over time to use again.

    Add a certain amount of time after the keep is flagged before the portal is usable, giving an attacking force a chance to keep reinforcements from "porting" in.

    It would add more purpose to clearing the npcs of a keep.


    on a side note, I think the whole keep flagging system could use some work.

    I was thinking some more on it.

    The portal could be usable after the inner wall is breached.

    It would be easier if the would add an ability to the alliance line for aoe type Rez. Something that cost an extremely large amount and has a cast timer. But will Rez everyone in the large area. It would be cool too to add a small version to the resto line and a larger version to the Templar resorting light line. I'm just saying if camp transit is the issue make it player controlled.

    I have a feeling FC's are not coming back at all and as an alternative they added passives into the Champion system to boost horse speed/stamina ect. This would be a win/win for ZoS as it would placate some players by providing an alternative and create a larger timesink for the game.

    Rank 9 support skill (requires AWR 20)

    Soul Beacon - Cost 40 soul shards 10 from each player (not gems bought from PvP Vendors 500 AP / each)

    Place a portal when activated by three other players for 20 players to resurrect at the cost of 1 filled soul gem per player rezzed.

    Something like that, costly so its not abused?

    How about people just keep riding horses and let the last of the camps run out... The game is better off without camps or portals being spammed.
