Farming rawhide scraps as level 40+ How?

So.. I need some rawhide scraps to creaate an armor to my friend BUT when i try to farm mobs that drop this, i have no loot and no rawhide scraps,, What the heck? Is it supposed to be like this? Am i not allowed to craft lowlevel stuff to my friend without buying expensive stuff from stores?

BeardLumber✭✭✭✭I'm not 100% sure on this...but I am pretty sure mudcrabs drop rawhide. Every zone has them and they scale to each zone.
Otherwise have your friend farm them for you, it's the least they could do if you are crafting for them.Heals Please

pema✭✭✭you have to be in the right place. go back to the place were these drop (the area that fits the lvl) there you can trash mobs and get the materials.
Other way is looking on stalls from groupmerchants, ofthen people sell stuff there pretty cheap2 -

✭After a while of head scrathing, i went to another area with different mobs and they atarted to drop. Still i think i get less of them than i got when i was low level but guess RNG is not on my side here
