@ZoS player suggestions to balance skills without nerfs

Since there seems to be several threads disussing various upcoming changes and fixes to different abilities i thought starting one thread to discuss these abilities and how we players could come up with solutions to solve issues other than nerfs.

Lets show ZoS what we as players can come up with to improve this game without swinging the nerf bat.

Suggestion 1
I for one think that RS could have its damage scaled back even as far as 10% reflected to allow this skill to still be used as a tanking tool instead of the nerf proposed by ZoS to the number of projectiles.

Suggestion 2
Give other classes a skill to combat RS or any reflective ability. Possibly a buff skill like evil hunter that when used prevents the next X amount of attacks or for the next X duration from being reflected. I would much rather see a counter skill then a nerf.

Yes i do realise that the first suggestion is still a neef but posted it anyhow.

Since its elder scrolls, it should not have classes....but its just an another mmorpg...
About RS? it should work as worked before fix. eat magicka. but not sure. this game is about spam stuff, so looks like RS is fine as it is...

How about break ES rule of no CDs, I guess they have not predicted pvp implemented to one of their games. Adding CD's to some skills would improve gameplay, escpecially pvp

Side note: Don't have much time atm, but have some ideas about CD's

Let everything as it is and wait until even NA pugs learn how to counter it. On EU servers I get dark flared, eclisped, feared, cursed, heavy resto attack killed in less than 5 seconds.

CD's on a game with only 5 skills would be very boring imo.

CD's on a game with only 5 skills would be very boring imo.

Game revolving around "who runs out of magicka & stamina first" is very boring imo (result of no cooldowns & the CC system in place where CC can be broken any time).

Perhaps they could implement some kind of a hybrid system, where skills would have to "power up" in order to get maximum benefit, but you'd be still able to spam them.

E.g. your obsidian shard would always cause damage, but would be able to stun only every 15 seconds, or your dmg shield would get maximum benefit only every 8 seconds, granting only 25% shield in the meanwhile.

There are already cooldowns in the game, you just don't see them (e.g. 1.3 second internal cooldown for using abilities & streak costing more magicka if cast multiple times in row)

The benefit of giving atleast CC effects a cooldown would be that you can then give one for CC break as well (I'd say one minute) and suddenly the game would become much more tactical/interesting & it'd reward different playstyles than "who has the best resource control". It would probably also fix zergballs, since AoE stuns would be extremely powerful.

    Just my thoughts.
