Good evening everyone

I had just my 3rd try with different groups on the spider boss in veteran spindleclutch. (Btw, still stacking rage quitters and none communicators to ignore list).

I am extremely colorblind. It is sometimes ok, but this boss.. The background changes to some kind of blue, and it really hurth my eyes. And when the templar healer is doing all the healing, It is just too much colors for me to handle. I have never ever seen this circle everyone says I have to stay out of (or be in, I dont know).
And the last boss on DSA. When the flames are the same colors as the grass.. I know it is hard for you to imagine.

Is there any solution for me on this subject?

Would Polarized Glasses or tinted glasses help enough to change the colors?

There is also visual indicators with body movement, not just the red aoe circle, which indicates the time you need to interrupt. I also believe there is an add-on that can add "INTERRUPT NOW" to your screen. This will help you be a better tank but obviously won't solve the colors you see.

I have never thought about glasses helping me, but I will check that out.
I did not know I had to interrupt them, and thanks for the addon tip. That would really help me.

I have Christmas Color Blindness. Meaning seeing Red and Green doesn't happen for me like other folks. My main is a tank, and a couple of things I've done to make more difficult runs easier for me:

    1. Turn Grass off - This helps me with doing Fungal Grotto Vet as one of a few examples. The ground circles are otherwise things I can't make out until I'm being hit by them.
    2. Bring my view in closer. I like to run with max view so I can see the field. But during boss fights I miss things on, it's much easier on me to bring the field of view in some to see the cue's better. I have dodge rolled off of a couple of cliffs though, so have a sense of humor with that one :)
    3. Turn off Bloom - This is a last resort for me. If you have people spamming a whole bunch of stuff constantly I'll do this if it interferes with me seeing cues or warnings from mobs or bosses. The game is less pretty that way, but that's a compromise I make in order to keep everything on me rather than the dps or healy types.

I feel you and I'm not even colorblind. Some effects interact WAY too much with the boss telegraphs.

Try out the add on Combat Cloud (I believe). It will give you cues such as interrupt or block etc.
Furthermore it can be set to display icons of the skills hitting you so that may help with identifying the source of the damage, and you can edit the colors so the combat numbers don't have to be displayed in green and red.

It's not enough, sadly. OR, it's too late. Or both.

Prime example, tanking the serpent. It does the cleave. The telegraph shows up before it actually cleaves, and is the cue to actually move. If you fail that, you get hit. So in many cases you have to be proactive. Combat cloud is not enough.

my vision is fine but I agree with you.

I'm guessing you're talking about praxin douare and his waves of adds. the background color hurts my eyes too.
the same goes for vet FG end boss vila theran, and some pve quests where you have to enter a dream sequence and whatnot. DC has lots of those "enter such and such's dream/past" sort of quests and yes it's quite annoying, tbh)

There should be colorblind mode as in many other games.
I dont even want to know what happens to you when someone uses nova a.k.a flashbang grenade.

My vision is also fine- colourwise, but slightly photosensitive.. and *** does that hurt when people trigger it!

I have partial color blindness so I understand. I usually find a personal group who is ok with that, hope on TS and have them tell me how and where to move. It takes a very understanding group but there are some out there.

There must be a config setting to turn off screen effects like that, I just don't know which one.

10k aoe and 1.5k single, we can't kill the 2 last add proper. we focus the healers tank is fine, healer too.Lol i put 6 banner we focus the good one but it's so hard to kill praxin nicely. Many group failed is not really nice optimisation. 10k aoe and 1.5k in single and of course we focus the godd one. I did spindle so many time, finish it so many time but now im full opti and i can't kill him nicely....there a problem....

I am colour blind to. All colours change to my eyes dependent on the light hitting it. For example if I see a blue car and it goes into the shade it goes purple then when it comes out back into the sun it might be blue or pink due to the light of the sun and where its hitting.

Pretty much I have the same problems some times in the game. I think it makes me better though. I always keep moving incase a aoe is on my feet and I cant see it etc. It must be hard for a tank though, im a dps.

    Colour = australian way.

As a few others have suggested, look into colored glasses. Thanks to the increasing use of lasers of various wavelengths in industry, you can find safety glasses in a wide range of colors. From your post, it looks like you are having trouble with blue/green, so I would recommend orange-tinted glasses.
I would recommend these, they look pretty slick, and block out blue and green light pretty well:amazon.com/gp/product/B000USRG90/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
