Little Help For a newbie :)

Sooo, my main char is a level 30 mage in the Dominion faction...love her. I want to do a side char, but I have no idea what faction to pick, I made chars for the other 2 factions and got to roughly level 10ish with both, and tbh, I wasn't emerged in the main story line and side quests of the factions like I was with the dominion. Which one do you guys recommend? The Ebonhearth or the Covenant? Which one would you say is funner/more interesting in later game...maybe past level 10-15?(in terms of main mission and random side quests?)

PS: Any fun class recommendations? Something unique and cool? ( I like dps, dislike healing)

Thanks in advance

I personally think EP has some very cool locations and story's. But you can do all of it on one character so it doesn't really matter.

EP has the best quest design and the coolest location and DC overall is very good but the alikir desert it was terrible imo.
    Both are better then AD

I guess it's all down to personal preference, but I actually preferred both EP and DC to AD. The locations in EP were really cool, and I loved just about everything about DC... (and I actually thought the Alikir Desert was excellent!)

I played EP in beta,so when ESO launched I went for DC. After DC I looked forward to AD and couldn't wait to see the beautiful greenery.I thought that AD would be my favourite but I ended up getting sick of jungles and Bosmer huts. I'm now back in EP and I can honestly say it's my favourite. Then again, I'm a dunmer so I'm a little biased!

The quest desing and story lines is AD are far ahead DC and ahead of EP ,too. But the setting of DC is my favorite.

I'm one of the odd who enjoyed AD. Most of my chars are Khajiit though. I didn't care so much for the middle story going through the Bosmer areas, but the Altmer beginning and the Khajiit end I really enjoyed.

EP, I have a hard time getting into the first large area, Stonefalls' quests and area, same for Shadowfen. Swamps and lava just wear on me a bit. Deshaan, Rift, and even Skyrim I think have pretty good quests though and I enjoy.

DC, even though I enjoy pirates and such I've just not yet been able to get myself through Stormhaven. I've had two chars make it through Glenumbra and just stop. I don't think it's particularly a bad alliance, but I just can't stick with it. My Actual DC char made it through and my EP VR2 made it through Glenumbra before I tapped out. It could be with the setup in the actual starter island, I was actually really looking forward to some serious desert but was let down.

And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

I think you should stick to the Dominion. Later on, having characters in different alliances isn't very practical: they have to compete on different sides for PVP, you have to find different guilds for group content, ...
You'll get to experience the content of the other 2 alliances after you reach lvl50 and finish the main quest. :)

I'm AD because that's where guild decided to go, but I would have chosen EP as I loved Morrowind. I like the EP stories as well. AD is alright, but I can't give a fair view of it because I've played through it so many times (with other AD alts). DC was alright, too. I just got sick of Rivenspire. But other than that, it just depends on your taste. They are all good, really.

It depends on what you have an interest in. EP has issues with the locations of some Dolmens, by which I mean if you die at some the nearest wayshrine is a long way away. I only know of one like that in DC. As far as quests etc, it's much of a muchness. I prefer EP for scenery since I hated Rivenspire far more than the Shadowfens.

Both stories are good, in my opinion. I've played all three factions, and they all have good stories. EP story has a bit more betrayal than DC, but both have depth and good characters.

What would make the decision for me is whether you want Dunmer, lava, swamps, Argonians (and Hist), snow and Nords, or do you want Bretons, hils, Orcs, mountains, Redguards and deserts.
